Diet Meal 360 Platinum Innovation
It is/was my first foray into the protein shakes world so I had done some research and compared between a few of the different brands and products.
I got the view that from my digging that I wanted a meal replacement shake as opposed to a pure protein shake that I would use in addition to meals. I wanted something that I could use instead of breakfast/lunch/dinner on any day and for that to work, I needed something with a good amount of protein and fibre along with other vitamins and minerals. I also wanted something tasty but not too sweet.
I settled on the Protein Works Diet Meal Platinum 360 product. It has 25g protein per 60g scoop of powder mix. It's important to note that just protein shakes use half the amount (30g) for similar or less protein but with none of the added vitamins that a meal replacement shake needs.
I got the (kinder) bueno flavour and to boost my protein intake i added 300ml of high protein milk to it - bad mistake, was incredibly sweet. I've since refined my mix by using 500ml of cold water and 200ml of high protein milk and for me, it's perfect. Then when I'm finished (I nurse the combined 700ml for 20 mins as you're not supposed to swamp the shake in one go, take the time you'd use to eat a regular meal), i add another 300ml to the cup, give it a good shake and drink it again. It's really filling.
I'm about half way through my first month of it and am pleased with the results so far. I'm losing some weight and am not starving myself.
I think the main thing in all of this is to run a calorie deficit and the shakes with come to about 220kcals with water alone, help achieve that. For the remainder of my first month, I'll continue as I am, replacing either breakfast or lunch with a shake. For my second month, I might have a regular breakfast and lunch but start using the shakes to replace dinner.

Good product to be honest. I wanted a clean, no nonsense, good tasting protein powder and protein works platinum vegan is pretty good. I'm not vegan, but I can't tolerate dairy as much. No issues with this powder. I got the vanilla flavour, tastes fine. Better than expected. Mixing it with oats milk, for personal preference the vanilla creme is slightly on the sweeter side but that's just me, I always prefer less sweet but it's still fine. If you blend a banana and other stuff to make a shake, it'll work great too.
One thing to note is I'd say its 90% smooth mixing it with just oats milk. Not a bad thing, just something to highlight. Of course, expected with a natural protein powder. overall 9/10, well pleased, have ordered it again and will most probably stick with this.
