I replied to an email to cancel this service. The Same day. I received a bill for a no-show and billed my insurance company.

I absolutely love working with Scott! He’s helped me navigate so much, and finding him through the app has truly been one of the best things that’s happened to me. I’m so grateful for the experience and the wonderful services!

I am glad I looked Talk Space up on my insurance provider list.

When I first signed up with Talkspace, I was told there would be no copay and that my insurance would cover the full cost of each session. However, after that, several of my sessions were scheduled and then canceled by Talkspace. Despite canceling one of those sessions more than 48 hours in advance, they still charged me for it. I’m very disappointed with their service and would never use them again.

My therapist was fabulous but support is horrendous. The company contacted me to indicate that my insurance was expired, which in fact it was not.And I provided them a letter for my insurance provider, indicating that it was in good standing and all I received back was canned messages that indicated I needed to upload new insurance. And even after I re uploaded the insurance information, I continued to get the same canned responses, regardless of the route of support contact I made. To have a therapeutic platform essentially gaslight you on your insurance status is atrocious. No support no communication, no feedback no follow up. If I could rate negative stars, I absolutely would. I used the platform for almost a year with no issue.
My therapist has been fabulous, but the platform itself is horrendous and the support is extraordinarily problematic, no, investment at all in client support or satisfaction or doing right by service.

My experience so far has been positive because they paired me with a therapist who met my needs, online appointments that I can do from anywhere with my laptop or phone, appointments that meet my scheduling needs, and with my insurance, it has made therapy both accessible and affordable.

I haven't really had therapy before, so not a lot of experience, but it has been helpful for me to talk to someone; to think about things differently and problem solve issues in my life.

Julie is great!!!! I finally found someone I feel comfortable with. She feels more like a friend than a therapist.

The sessions are only for 45 minutes NOT 60 minutes (which I didn't know - if I new this I probable would have tried a different route) but the virtual visits will automatically cut off 43-44 minutes. Most of the time the sessions just ended abruptly.
The therapist did not show up for one of the scheduled virtual appointments - I waited for 15 minutes, therapist did not come on. Texted the therapist and did not hear back. Heard back 3 days later. Therapist was sick - however, nothing notified me that the virtual visit was cancelled. I thought with 2 out of 6 sessions that I had left, I was not about to find a new therapist and start over with only just 2 sessions left. I called customer service to see what happened to my therapist (this was before I heard back from her), the customer service representative was very rude and short with me at first until I said - what if I was suicidal? The therapist not showing up is not a good thing. What if I had serious mental health issues? After I said this was only when the customer service rep became became nicer. More training is needed in this area for customer service representatives - especially this being a behavioral health representative.
The reason why I gave talkspace a 2 star was because it was quick and easy to schedule a therapist. You just pick the date and time that you want, however, it does not give you an option to choose the type of therapist that you want or even screen them to see what their specialties are. So it does limit you to the type of therapist you desire. I felt like mine needed more experience - the quality of her skills just is not there yet.

I absolutely love that TalkSpace and my insurance carrier have made this service available to me. I could not otherwise afford therapy. My provider, Kameron, has been incredible. She gives insight and real-life tools that I try to apply. I am still not my best self, but her help has been a game-changer. I love that even though the visits are virtual, she is engaged and this doesn't have the feeling of a virtual appointment.

My therapist has been a such a help in more ways that I could have imagined. Actionable suggestions and strategies to help, a listening ear and kind words are always offered. Talkspace is a platform I recommend to anyone looking for help.

I really enjoy talking to Meghan. I feel like I’m finding the answers to why I am a certain way and how to accept and love myself more. It is helpful to name my feelings and understand the why behind them but also feel validated to through the process. Sometimes we just need someone to tell us “I feel for you” or “I can see the weight you are carrying is heavy.”
