A scam
A great idea but unfortunately this programme is a scam. I signed up for a seven day free trial and cancelled on day two but the company still deducted £74.99 from my account. I emailed several times but the only replies I received told me that my subscription was cancelled and asked if I wanted to renew it. If it was cancelled why was I charged? Checking online I see other users have had similar experiences.

Please email sophia@talkpal.ai from the address on the account, along with a copy of the payment receipt, and I will find it right away. If there has been no usage since the charge, we refund it. No questions asked.

I like that the course gives the new language learner helpful feedback on their pronunciation of the new language.
I like that the course gives the new language learner a lot of repetitive practice. Another helpful aspect is the analytical feedback on the learner's pronunciation of the new language.

it's great in that it is able to support me in my learning, easy to follow and great feedback. It's not so good in that you cannot retain the feedback, it resets, so you can't really go back and look at it to be able to improve. You have only the feedback email to rely on and that does not tell you all the things that went awry. It would also be amazing if it could develop the call function to be able to chat handsfree with your AI tutor, with perhaps a code word to signal the end of your particular conversation piece... instead of having to push the mic button. But overall I have had a leap forward in my education and improved significantly, thanks
