Overall, I would say this was a good experience. The initial process is cool; they take sample videos and source videographers and/or photographers for you, very convenient. I had only a couple issues with their processes, I would say one of them being more overt and upfront about the fact that NO files will be released until full payment is received (like extremely overt). Secondly, during the editing process, I couldn't tell if the editing team was just not listening or trying to make a suggestion, but there's nothing wrong with some dialog/making a suggestion, so if the editing team wants to make a suggestion it should be communicated because otherwise it'll just look like the request went ignored. I was skeptical at first with how little direction they needed initially, but how they crafted the story out of basically no info was truly good and the overall quality of the editing and video great.

I've used Shootday twice, and across both coasts in San Francisco and in NYC. They have made this extremely easy to partner with. I get extremely nervous about vendors falling through day-of, but not only has Shootday been affordable but they have showed up early (on time) and they have been flexible with us during the filming. Additionally, they share the files almost immediately after the filming wraps up and also within a week or so they provide a edited clips.

This is our second project with Shootday, and they’ve delivered both times. First, they documented our conference and turned it into a highlight reel. This time, they produced our product launch video. Both times, our stakeholders were very impressed with the quality of the final product.

What stands out most is how budget-friendly they are. Before the project even starts, they work with you to make sure every dollar goes where it matters. You never feel like you’re paying for things you don’t need.

The videographers and photographers they bring in are consistently top notch. Their editing process is fast and efficient, and if anything needs clarifying, they’re happy to jump on a call to make sure your vision comes through.

Every interaction has been polite, professional, and helpful. If you’re looking for a creative partner that respects your budget and still delivers great work, I’d recommend Shootday without hesitation. We’ll be back for round three.

ShootDay saved the day! We had a very important speaking opportunity on the 25th anniversary of September 11. With only days to prepare, we needed a professional Videographer to capture the special moment about a historic story at a prestigious university. ShootDay was the only company who was able to provide a videographer at the 11th hour, confirming just the day before. They were extremely personable, professional, and accommodating. They produced a very thoughtful edited video based on our requests which is something we can use in the future. We are extremely grateful for their customer service and for their creative skillfulness.

The photographer and videographer arrived on time and were very polite and professional throughout the entire process. They brought a lot of creative ideas to the table and supported us with all the plans and concepts we set out in our action plan, finalizing everything quickly and professionally.

We already have 2 videos completed in production and are very happy with the results! We have 5 more videos currently in production, and I am confident the quality will be just as impressive.

The photographer was extemely polite, friendly and professional.

The communication was great and their team was very professional. Being an out of state job, I really appreciated them being able to coordinate the shoot effectively. The quality of the actual photography however, left much to be desired. Our on-site creative lead took a few photos on his iPhone at the same location which looked markedly better than the quality we received from their team. So while I have a great deal of praise for their project oversight and coordination, the photography itself (ie. the most important part of the job and the thing we needed them for the most) was lacking.

The overall experience from start to finish was great! The team was patient with us as we finalized all details. The photographer was amazing, he was friendly, helpful and took amazing shoot and helped us have a night to remember. I chose to work with Shootday because we were doing an event in another city where I did not have a photographer. I went into this with only the online connection. Our photographer was great. He arrived on time, got through the intense security, and produced high quality photos of our attendees.
I was not given direct access to our photographer until just a few days before the event. I was directed to 3 layers of management until a photographer was named. This made me a little uncomfortable since I had to deal with many other event details and not having a clear communication channel with my photographer was a risk. Other than that, he was excellent.

The response time was always excellent, the photographer was very professional, and the pictures were delivered on time. They were very accommodating to our needs for the photoshoot and were available even on short notice. The editing could have been a little more true to the original colors, but overall, the quality was very good. We highly recommend their services!
