My experience with **Server Sea Hosting has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.** Their servers have been down since early morning, and as a result, all my websites are inaccessible. For anyone running a business online, this is absolutely unacceptable.

The most frustrating part is not just the downtime, but the way the company has handled the situation. When I requested a refund because of this service failure, they strictly refused. So, customers are expected to pay for hosting, suffer the consequences when the servers go down, and apparently receive no satisfactory resolution when things go wrong.

**What exactly are customers paying for if their websites can go offline for hours and they cannot get a reasonable resolution?**

A hosting provider should offer reliability, transparency, timely support, and accountability. Based on my experience, Server Sea Hosting has seriously failed to meet my expectations in these areas.

I had a very disappointing experience with ServerSea involving the a domain name.

I searched the domain through ServerSea’s own domain-search system, and it was shown to me as available. Based on that representation, I proceeded through checkout and paid ServerSea to register it.

Later, ServerSea informed me that the domain was actually still in a PKNIC deactivation/release state and was not yet available for registration at the time I placed the order.

During my complaint, ServerSea acknowledged in writing that:

their automated .PK availability system could not detect certain PKNIC hold/release restrictions;
the domain was shown as available for ordering even though it was not yet immediately registrable;
that specific restriction was not communicated to me through the availability result at checkout;
.PK registrations are handled manually through the PKNIC panel;
and they could not substantiate the exact time at which their manual registration attempt was made after release.

This is the part I find unacceptable.

If their system cannot determine whether a .PK domain is actually registrable, I believe customers should be clearly warned before checkout instead of simply being shown “Available” and being allowed to pay.

Had I been told that the domain was not yet available and would be released publicly on a first-come, first-served basis, I could have monitored PKNIC directly and attempted the registration myself.

The domain was ultimately registered by another party.

ServerSea offered to refund the registration fee, but in my view, that does not address the underlying issue: I relied on the availability information shown on their website, and only afterward learned that their system did not actually know the full PKNIC status of the domain.

I raised the matter with management and asked for a commercial settlement, which ServerSea declined. I have also submitted the matter to PKNIC for review.

I am not alleging that ServerSea intentionally caused the loss of the domain. My complaint is about the accuracy and transparency of their .PK domain availability system and checkout process.

Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone buying an expiring or recently deactivated .PK domain verify the status directly with PKNIC before relying on ServerSea’s availability checker.

ServerSea's service has become very poor. Their servers are extremely slow and often under heavy load. Whenever we report the issue, they always claim that the problem is with our website. However, the same website works perfectly fine on other hosting providers, which clearly shows that the issue is with their server, not our website.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to understand this and keep blaming the website instead of fixing their own server. They should focus on improving their server performance rather than holding their customers responsible.
