I had a wonderful experience on the Tanzania Self drive Safari. The safari itself was truly beautiful and unforgettable, with amazing landscapes, wildlife and moments that I will remember for a long time.
A special mention goes to our guide, Giulia, who was fantastic: knowledgeable, kind, professional and always available. She made the experience even more enjoyable. The group of fellow travellers was also great, and sharing the adventure with such a nice group made the whole experience even more special.
I was disappointed with the organisation of the transfers and flights, tho. The travel arrangements were not very well planned, especially considering that the original programme at the time of booking stated that the flight would be direct to Arusha. Instead, the itinerary included flights via Nairobi, both on the way there and back, which had not been clearly indicated in the original programme. Moreover, some of the layovers were unnecessarily long (10 hours!).

Overall, the safari experience was excellent thanks to the destination, Giulia and the wonderful group, but I believe the organisation of the flights and transfers could be significantly improved and, above all, communicated more clearly at the time of booking.

Amazing road trip with Andrea in South Africa. The best part was the self-drive safari around Kruger National Park with the overland jeeps. The landscapes were stunning even with rain, but the feeling of taking pictures of wildlife that you can watch only in documentaries was unforgettable. Even the first half of the trip was very good for you can see penguins, Sea Lions, monkeys, whales (if you are lucky) and amazing views such as Plettenberg Bay and Cape Agulhas. Andrea, our team leader, has been great both professionally and personally and was not only a safari guide but even a travel companion.
The only change I would make to the trip is: I would take one day away from Cape Town (the one dedicated to Robben Island) and add it to the safari in Kruger.

It was my first time travelling with StoGranTour, and it was a positive one. The trip lived up to expectations, and if there were any minor issues, I believe they were more due to local standards and circumstances than to the organization itself. Noemi, our team leader, really made a difference: genuine and helpful, attentive to the group’s needs and moods, and always ready to find a solution. We visited so many different places, laughed a lot, and shared some truly wonderful moments with the whole group. At times, it even felt like we were on other planets. Iceland has so much to offer, and the glaciers are not to be missed.

I've been in Iceland, on the ring road with Sto Gran Tour from 7/08/26 to 17/08/26 it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life.
It was a group of 10 people everything was quite well organized from the flights to the cars we used to drive around and the accommodations.
The journey was special also thanks to Federico, our guide that with his experience and knowledge of Iceland made the tour unforgettable.

Amazing trip, well organized, and we saw everything that was on the itinerary and even more. The tour leader was excellent and engaging, and the group bonded and came together right from the start. Highly recommended and definitely worth it!

I chose Sto Gran Tour for my first group travel experience with people I met on the day of departure: I would do it again and plan to do it again soon!

Experience made fantastic thanks to our guide Giulia, when the passion surpasses the work you notice. Giulia managed to find the perfect balance between a fun experience full of culture and notions. A certified guide always makes a difference on important trips like these and ours has been able to remove all our doubts and answer all our questions without hesitation but rather always transmitting something new.If I decide to travel again with Sto Gran Tour it is thanks to this experience and I would like to do it again with Giulia.

The trip was unforgettable, not only because of the landscapes we saw but also for the way we traveled — self-drive and sleeping in tents. Personally, it was a journey that left a deep impression on me. Claudio, our guide, was impeccable both professionally and personally. I highly recommend him.

It’s absolutely impossible to have zero, 1-, 2-, or even 3-star reviews on Trustpilot. Something’s off.
I can say this because I’ve travelled with SGT twice now, and both times, things went wrong one way or another.

I can’t say much about the first trip because it was a while ago and I don’t remember all the details, but this last one in South Africa was badly planned and poorly managed.

I’d signed up and paid for the extra activities almost 8 months before departure, only to be told right before leaving that I couldn’t do the night safari or sleep in a tent because everything was fully booked. The third extra activity was cancelled too, simply because I was the only one who signed up.
It was only after I sent a pretty angry email that they finally said they’d “try” to get me on both activities. Just unacceptable proactivity for a trip that costs over 3k.

And then there’s the rooming situation. I was made to share with the male coordinator for the entire trip, even sharing a double bed one night, just because the only other two participants were a couple. Nobody even discussed it with me; it was simply assumed I’d be fine with it. I’m in a relationship myself, and thankfully, my partner isn’t jealous, but it still made both of us uncomfortable, to say the least.

Once there, the entire pace of the trip revolved around the couple’s needs and schedule, apparently being solo and not loud enough meant I had no say.
For example, we arrived at Kruger (the main highlight of the trip) at least an hour and a half late because the couple wanted to buy gifts for their friends.
I would’ve been fine with that if it had been discussed and agreed on by everyone, but it wasn’t. Ironically, that same morning, the coordinator told us to “hurry up” so we’d have more time in the park before it closed at 6pm.
This wasn’t a one-off. Similar disorganization happened over and over again throughout the trip.

I’m 100% disappointed with how everything was handled. For the price they charge, it’s just not worth it.

All around Iceland tour, overall very cool experience and amazing places. General organization could have been better:

- had issues with flights booked
- it would have been nice having 2 or 3 choices for places to have dinner in (avoid fast food, since we have been eating sandwitches for the whole journey)
- issues with some staying solutions.

The organization, the precision in the information and the care in managing all the kind of situation.

Amazing tour, a once in a lifetime experience, the Safari Tour in Namibia with pick up trucks and tents has Been the best experience of my life, looking for Lions , Leopards, Elefants, and The biggeet dunes on earth!! The Guide, Cristina has Been incredibile, spot on! The time has Been manager perfectly and the drive was safe and exciting!!

Our foreman Andrea did great job.
He knows Namibia very well, travel with him Has been funny and safe.

The highlight was definitely a guide who knew how to manage the group perfectly, and who, in addition to being a "guide," was also part of us. The group was fantastic, with everyone very engaged and close-knit. The places and landscapes were incredible.

What an unforgettable adventure! South Africa was stunning, and StoGranTour did a great job organizing everything — from safaris to city tours, every day was packed with incredible experiences. Sure, there were a few small hiccups along the way (as with any big trip), but thanks to the team’s professionalism and especially Federica’s calm and positive attitude, everything turned out great.

One of the best parts? The people. Our group was incredible — full of fun, kind, and open-minded travelers. In just 12 days, real friendships were born, and sharing this journey together made it even more special. Highly recommended!

I really appreciated trip’s road map, except for overlapping activities like the visit of Sacred Valley and the trekking to Humantay: I wish I could have done both.
