Used Stairparts USA to purchase for a job I was doing for a customer. After much time making sure I had all the items needed, I purchased round Iron balusters, Contemporary handrail, plain box newel, mounting block and shoes for the baluster. The shoes were for square not round, I called for 2 weeks and emailed without any response on returning the shoes, or replacing with the correct ones that fit what I purchased.
I will not recommmend this company due to the fact after you purchase from them, they don't care about customer service follow-up.

I had a positive experience overall. Our treads weren't packaged very well (just bare on a pallet) and they shipped the wrong handrail but the customer service was excellent - they were very professional and sent a replacement handrail right away.

I could have purchased this material for slightly less on other sites but I decided on Stair Parts USA based on reviews about the customer service and I'm glad I did.

Please be aware if you order too much or the wrong size, returning material is a joke! This company make's sure it not worth it to return anything. We placed a rather large order with this company that qualified for free shipping. When we started a return on some items, not only were we told we would have to pay return shipping (understandable), they also wanted to charge back the original shipping fees plus charge a 30% restocking fee. We returned only a few items as not to have to pay the original shipping back and are still waiting for our credit. This company is non responsive! I have called and emailed several times and am being totally ignored!

Unfortunately, I have to give a poor review for this company. I accidentally ordered a substantial amount of balusters in the wrong size. I understand that I would need to pay for return shipping, however, the 25% restocking fee on an order over $700 is too high ($175 + the shipping I still needed to pay). I know they have to be able to make money but I also need to feel confident should an unplanned error occur that I am not penalized. Other companies do not have this process and I could do business.

The shopping experience was very easy from start to finish.

Communication was great via phone and e-mail. Answered all of my questions. Shipment was super fast, all parts arrived with correct qty's and in good condition. Prices were great as well.

If you've ever sorted through wooden stair parts at a big box store , you know what kind of junk is out there.
These guys are the real deal.

Order of 82 balusters was processed in a timely fashion and received the shipment within 3 days of order. Standard ship quantities were shipped in production boxes and were well protected. The odd lot quantities used complete the order were loose shipped in bubble-wrap sleeves. This loose shipment resulted in damage to a few balusters and contained some incorrect styles (obviously hand selected parts and hand packed)

Fortunately Tom from Stair Parts USA was extremely helpful and immediately shipped out replacement balusters upon notification of the issue. The replacement balusters came within 2 days!

Obviously it is unfortunate when there are errors with an order, but when it is handled quickly and without incident ... that is the sign of a good company.

I was very satisfied with the help I had during the ordering and purchasing process. I was however, a little disappointed when my new balusters arrived and I found that they were unfinished. This may have been a misunderstanding on my part, but I had sent a photo when ordering to insure that I was ordering as near a match as possible.
Either way, I'll work it out. I'll use your company again in the future, I'm sure.

Customer service is very helpful and keeps you informed of their progress in handling your order. Needed special parts not list on website and everything arrived as promised.

My hard to find stair baluster was found on Stair Parts. my order arrived quickly and matched perfectly, just need to trim down a little off the top and bottom
