Half of my order was ruined due to poor packaging inside the box, one bag of chocolate was ripped and introduced to the moist that was created by also poorly packaged iced pack because it was wrapped in the paper, but not in protective plastic bag

Unfortunately, despite carefully packing orders and labeling shipping boxes to ensure they arrive in good condition, sometimes the time spent in transit is more rough than we would like and can result in damage. The ice packs are wrapped in paper to minimize condensation, so we are definitely looking into why yours arrived so abnormally wet.
As mentioned in our email, we want to make this right and will happily provide a replacement or refund for the damaged product. Once you respond with your preference we will get it handled right away.

I don't appreciate being strongarmed into paying more for shipping just because the weather is warm. When the shipping fees are more expensive than the actual product, you may need to rethink the way you do things.

During the hot summer months it can be more costly to ship chocolate products since they require additional packing materials. Some products also require an expedited shipping method due to being extra delicate or sensitive, such as Mycryo powdered cocoa butter. We do understand shipping can be costly, especially during hot weather, but unfortunately we do not have any control over carrier rates.
We always aim to be up-front and transparent with our customers, so our warm weather/chocolate shipping policy must be acknowledged prior to being able to add these products to their cart so it is not a surprise after check out. If you ever have a question or concern about what shipping method is best for your order, you are always welcome to reach out to us prior to ordering and we will be happy to help you.

I ordered chocolate during the hottest part of the summer in Las Vegas and fully expected it to arrive melted. To my surprise, it arrived in great condition, with most of the chocolate completely intact. They packaged it exceptionally well and included ice packs to keep everything cool during transit. I was very impressed with the care they took, and I will definitely be ordering from them again!
