The room was just perfect for two
The room was just perfect for two. Amenities as advertised. WIFI connection very good. Access set up and entry was seamless. Proximity to Edward VII park and the main tourist and shopping district couldn't have been better. Especially if you like to walk. Metro, bus and sightseeing right there. Good choice. We're on our way to Porto and staying with them again. Looking forward to it! RF

Title: Terrible experience: Suite with no privacy, 1 hanger, blocked TV & broken promises
Review:
I booked a "Suite with balcony" at Limehome Vienna Favoritenstraße (Booking XXWIHSEO-1). Upon arrival, I was assigned Room 118 on the ground floor.
The room faces directly where pedestrians pass by, offering zero privacy or security. On top of that, the service standards are shockingly poor: there was literally only 1 clothes hanger in the entire wardrobe for a Suite room, and the Smart TV is locked in a restricted "hotel mode" blocking standard app functionality.
The worst part is the customer support. One operator (Bhavishya) officially promised in writing that my room transfer request for the next day was placed on HIGH PRIORITY. Shortly after, other support agents completely ignored this commitment and sent automated templates refusing any room change for the entire stay.
Absolutely poor service, misleading promises, and total disrespect for guests. Avoid this property if you expect basic privacy and honest customer support.
Clean
Clean , spacy ,had everything you need for your journey , 10/10
Avoid at all costs
I have stayed in many digital access hotels etc but this is absolutely horrendous. The heating was stuck on in my room to the point it was unbearable and the contact never answered for fourteen hours at a time and gave absolutely no help. Avoid at all costs.
Disappointing stay despite a great…
Disappointing stay despite a great location
When we arrived, the apartment was clean and in a great location.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing for several reasons.
The apartment was advertised as being very bright, with plenty of natural light. However, our apartment had windows facing other apartments, which severely restricted the natural light and left the space feeling like a box. It felt very enclosed and claustrophobic.
I would also not recommend these apartments to light sleepers. Due to the layout of the building, noise travels easily between floors. When other guests open their windows and talk, the sound echoes throughout the building and can be very disturbing.
When I booked, there was no indication that our apartment would have such a restricted window view or limited natural ventilation. Had this been clearly stated in the description, I would not have booked it. When I raised my concerns, I was told that the pictures were generic and that we had been allocated an apartment suitable for three people. While I understand that the apartment could accommodate three guests, this does not address the lack of a proper view, natural light, and airflow, none of which had been clearly communicated before booking.
Another major issue was the shower. The temperature control did not work properly, and every four to five seconds, the water would suddenly become boiling hot. This made showering very uncomfortable and potentially dangerous, as I had to keep stepping away to avoid getting burned.
Although the location and cleanliness were good, the lack of natural light, poor ventilation, noise issues, and unsafe shower temperature significantly affected our stay.
Overall, I would not recommend this apartment, and I would advise future guests to clarify the exact apartment they will receive before booking.
Perfect accommodation for a short stay
Perfect accommodation for a short stay. Beautifully clean, close to the city centre and very comfortable. Online check-in and checkout was easy.
Would recommend this place to anyone.
Great location
Great location, within walking distance to many attractions. Clean. Easy check in and check out process.
Reservation cancelled just two hours before check-in – Completely unacceptable
My experience with Limehome was extremely disappointing and stressful. I had booked my accommodation in Rome several months in advance, only to have my reservation cancelled at around noon on the very day of my arrival, just two hours before the scheduled check-in time.
There was absolutely no prior warning or proper communication. I simply received an automated WhatsApp message informing me that my stay had been cancelled. No one contacted me personally to explain the situation or offer a proper solution.
I was travelling to Rome and had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. Fortunately, my flight was scheduled for later that day, which gave me just enough time to find somewhere else to stay. Had my flight arrived earlier, I could have been left stranded with nowhere to go.
To make matters worse, I was informed that my refund would take up to five business days. I had made this reservation months in advance, and suddenly I was left without the accommodation I had booked and without immediate access to the money I had paid.
This is not the level of professionalism or reliability I expect from an accommodation provider. If a reservation cannot be honoured, customers deserve to be informed well in advance and offered appropriate assistance, not notified two hours before check-in through an automated message.
Cancelling a confirmed booking at the last minute shows a complete lack of consideration for the customer’s time, money and travel plans.
I would not recommend Limehome based on this experience. I expect a formal explanation and appropriate compensation for the stress and inconvenience caused. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.
Bad bad bad
Bad bad bad. Stayed in the hotel for business with a group of 8 people in San Sebastián. Al rooms had issues with the airconditioning. Window cannot be opened when the blinds are down. Breakfast at 8am… for buisiness trip not suitable at all.
If you need help you have to communicate with a chatbot which redirect you to an e mail address. The response was 24 h later… when we already checked out.
Never a booking with this company again.
A very disappointing stay
A very disappointing stay. Street noise prevented us from sleeping properly. A central location is convenient, but a good night’s sleep should still be a basic expectation of any hotel.
There were even earplugs with the hotel’s own logo on the bedside table. The hotel subsequently confirmed that it was aware of the noise issue. Earplugs, however, are no solution to an ongoing problem.
The most disappointing part was how our complaint was handled. We received lengthy, polite replies about how important guest satisfaction supposedly is, but no concrete solution or compensation. We were told that because we had already checked out, nothing could be done.
This leaves the impression that once payment has been received, responsibility for the guest experience ends. Reassuring words about service mean very little without action. We will not be returning.
Milan Navigli was our apartment…
Milan Navigli was our apartment address. Received entry codes for gate and apartment but gate would not open. Contacted the customer service team somewhere in Germany and received a different code but had to first send them a video of the gate and the various touch pad boxes. This took over 30 minutes. A resident arrived and said that the gate was broken and he took us to a side entrance where he used the entry code. They knew that the gate was broken (from follow up WhatsApp messages). Got into the apartment and the internet, which was also driving the tv didn’t work. WhatsApp messages back and forth revealed that they knew that the internet was down! Nothing revealed to us on the app prior to arrival! Then the faff of getting the aircon turned on! I have know idea what companies expect of their customers but being a gadget geek shouldn’t be one of them. How about “on/off and temperature selection? Oh no! You have to try and access its memory and recalibrate! And never deal with a company that say in their response to your issue: “Thank you for reaching out to us “!! Reaching out in version of English is very different to theirs! AVOID at all costs. PS they offered us €10 compensation for the internet outage. What can I say??
A very bad experience
A very bad experience. Even though I paid for a parking spot in the garage, it was occupied when I arrived in the evening. The accommodation had no front desk; communication was only through a WhatsApp bot. After I filed a complaint, they refused to refund the 44 EUR, claiming I should have contacted them immediately. Yet this is an accommodation with no front desk. I’d like to point out that during the trade show in Berlin, they jacked up prices from 120 to 550 EUR per night. Despite all that, they still refused to refund the 44 EUR for the inability to park. The situation with breakfast was even worse—there was no mention anywhere of where to pick it up (it’s an apartment building, not a traditional hotel). There were no instructions in the room or from the WhatsApp bot. Avoid Limehome’s unprofessional behavior; I had a very unfair experience with Limehome Berlin.
Awful company,
they have good reviews on google maps because they systematically delete bad reviews. I can only speak for Vienna. These are the reviews that they deleted: the apartments in roßauer lände and favoritenstrasse are rendered inhabitable to anyone with asthma and other respiratory illnesses because of extremely strong plugins. I was in the hietzinger hauptstraße site, and it was brand new newly built but already full of mold (meaning, visible mold on the wooden tables!) so something is really wrong with the building. Something similar seems to be happening in the recently opened in vivenotgasse. Kaajangasse is also quite moldy. So I guess all the scents are there to hide issues in the buildings. They are an awful company, the "contactless" idea was useful to the public only during the Covid years, otherwise it s a scam to provide as little service as possible and get the maximum money. This is my honest review, I also leave good reviews, but to other companies, not them. Don t trust companies who delete the bad reviews.
Great location in a safe neighbourhood
Great location in a safe and calm neighbourhood near metro station and walking distance to Sagrada Família.
Very modern and clean place, with easy access.
Our recommendation to enhance the stay experience for the owners: get a new mattress, it was very sagging and uncomfortable to sleep in (at least in our room 113)! We were also missing a ventilation in the bathroom to circulate air after shower and hangers for towels and toothbrush would be nice to have.
Very good! Recommend
Clean! Beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Very tidy. Surroundings are good. Parking also. Extremely recommend. Bed is good. Pillow little to soft for me
We arrived early from a river cruise…
We arrived early from a river cruise but they have luggage storage at the hotel that you can reserve ahead of time. We stashed our luggage a knocked around Basel until check in time. Check in was seemless they sent us our room no and code to get in the room. Room was clean and nice sized for Europe with A/C. Which was wonderful. They also have laundry machines on the 5 th floor. Which requires an app to use. But it was pretty easy all in all a great place to stay centrally located great restaurants within easy walking distance train station is a bit of a hike but you can catch a nearby tram that will get you there in 10 min or so
Great location
Great location, clean and spacious room. Seamless check-in procedure. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Appealing rooms, easy to access
Appealing rooms, easy to access, central.
Vienna looks even more beautiful from limehome!
"The accommodation is simply wonderful! It is much more spacious than it looked in the photos, with a great view of the Danube and located in a very convenient area, right opposite a metro station! I sent a message because we needed trash bags, and the response was immediate!!! I truly think this apartment is fantastic, definitely worth the money and I highly recommend it with my eyes closed!"
Amazing hotel with everything you need…
Amazing hotel with everything you need amd very New! It only doesn't get a 5 star review because there is no free parking anywhere near by.
