Terrible return policy
Terrible return policy. They are charging me $400 to return a $1000 item. No other luxury retailer has such a policy. At most return fees are $40-$100. Avoid at all costs.

I’m sorry to hear about the frustration with our return policy and the costs associated with your return.
I took a moment to review your order, and the return freight quote we received was about $250. Because this item is too large to ship through a standard ground carrier like FedEx or UPS, it has to move through an LTL freight carrier, which is unfortunately much more expensive than a typical parcel return.
As outlined in our return policy, remorse returns are subject to return shipping costs as well as a 10% restocking fee. That said, you are always welcome to use your own carrier instead of the quote we provide. In most cases, our negotiated freight rates are lower than what customers are able to obtain directly, but we absolutely want you to have that flexibility.
I do understand that return freight costs can be frustrating. However, in situations where the product arrived as ordered and there is no defect or damage, the return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We simply aren’t able to absorb those carrier charges on the customer’s behalf for a standard return.

Product wasn’t the same color as stock photos. Wouldn’t allow a return unless I paid close to $1,000 in return fees. Horrible customer service, don’t recommend buying from them.

We’re sorry the stools were not what you expected. The frame finish is listed as gunmetal in the product details, though we understand that it can look darker or closer to black in some photos depending on lighting and screen settings.
To confirm I show we did approve the return request. Since the stools arrived as ordered and the return was requested based on preference, the return freight would be the customer’s responsibility. I also wanted to make sure there was no confusion regarding the quoted cost, so we reviewed the email correspondence and the carrier’s estimated return freight for the six stools was approximately $400.
I would be happy to have one of our managers touch base with you as well just to ensure everything with the return was handled correctly and see if there's anything else we can do to assist here.

Free shipping turned out to be not free so I was disappointed.
I found this so I could price at Layla Grace and it was between purchasing the sofa and this star or a different store and the difference was about $100 both free shipping to my address in Arizona. I picked the Layla Grace store because I thought perhaps it was more of me, well known furniture store in the town, where it began. I was unhappy when I ordered the sofa and a couple of days later was told and I needed to pay some kind of charge for shipping to my location in Arizona. I think it was about four days before I was informed of that and by that time it was too late for me to buy the sofa at the other Location so I paid the up charge, but I wasn’t happy about that because it was $100 more. The people who delivered the sofa were very good so that was a big plus will I buy there again probably not because if it says free shipping but then they add on another hundred dollars or who knows what it’s really not free shipping so just come out with it in the beginning or don’t say free shipping.

Return Experience
I haven't purchased anything yet! I ordered three bar stools, but sent them back because I ordered the wrong size. I can tell you about the return experience. They take returns. The returns are very (VERY) expensive. The customer service reps are very helpful, but it still costs an arm and a leg.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Delivery should have happened by now - then after I ordered it, I emailed to confirm the expected delivery was accurate because I needed for a party - then I emailed 2 more times for a status and the table sat and now is supposed to be delivered next week, after I needed it.
