Klaus Meyer Knife Reviews 

After much research, I ordered the 19 piece german steel set. They looked nice, but 2 of them had rust and one had a small crack. I contacted them. They sent me 2 replacement knives for those, but one of them was the wrong knife. I have contacted them over and over (at least 10 times), sent pictures, repeated the same thing numerous times to them...and nothing. So, the bottom line is that I don't have the full set. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I have also noticed that they do not stay sharp as advertised. I will go back to Henckels or hopefully add to my Wusthof. These are certainly not worth the trouble of sharpening constantly, or dealing with an incomplete/damaged order that they refuse to rectify. I certainly wouldn't count on them for a warranty, as mine were brand new and I couldn't even get the whole set I paid $200 for.

After more than a decade with my Henckels, i decided it was time for a new set. To be clear, I owned a restaurant for many years and leased my knives. Every Thursday my "knife guy" would show up with knives for my entire staff. Nothing fancy at all but very sharp. This is my point of reference when choosing anything to do with cooking. I nearly pulled the trigger on a pricey set of Zwillings when I came across Klaus Meyer who I'd never heard of. While there is very little info on this brand, I liked what I saw and I chose to believe the company marketing. I bought a nice 4 knife set, then purchased a KM Santoku separately. So far so good. Build quality is on point and they're cutting to expectations ... so far. Happy with my purchase.

I have tried in vain to find a phone number for the so called German company which is now apparently owned by a Chinese company to
ask questions about their knives to no avail.
I have to give my email and then send the message so as I have done in the past I refuse to do any business with a company that can’t be contacted by phone , hmm.

As someone who cooks often, I'm impressed with these knives. For the price, the quality feels solid and they've been working great.

These knives have a simple, elegant look and are a pleasure to use - I'm so happy with them for my new kitchen!
