I used kahoot in an online teaching session as part of my final exam. Hello it was the boom.
I will always use it.
It's a great teaching tool.

I really enjoy the quizzes but there aren't nearly enough free ones.

Terrible subscription methods from Kahoot. Can't for the life of me figure out an intuitive way to pay 'monthly' for a subscription in stead of 'yearly'. And when I finally got a subscription, turns out the answers types I want to create aren't even available in that tier. So I'm supposed to buy an even more expensive tier... Mind you the exact unlocks for each tier are nowhere to be found.

Disgraceful behaviour, will never use Kahoot again, and I hope this company fails in the short term with a strategy like this.

I had a great experience using Kahoot. It was fun, easy to use, and made learning more enjoyable. I liked answering the questions and getting instant feedback because it helped me learn from my mistakes. Overall, I really enjoyed using Kahoot and would like to use it again.

The customer support are very helpful and friendly while still being professional. The experience for implementing Kahoot into learning are very positive, especially toward students.

Worked great

As a teacher, I subscribed to Kahoot+ in February of this year to access quite a few features (namely 'Type Answer' and 'Pin Answer'), which I have since successfully used on a few occasions in my classroom without issue.
Now, as of writing this review 4 months later, I can no longer access these features as they are only included in a subscription that is ~3x more expensive than what I presently pay for. There was no communication from Kahoot about this rug pull and any attempt to address this with their support is hindered by poorly integrated A.I. chat assistants that talk in circles.

Feels like I've just paid $60AUD for what I could use with the free version.

This is horrible. I tried to make an account, but it would not work. Anytime I put in a username, it would say it is unsuitable. I then used the 'magic wand' and used the names suggested for me to use. They would not work either. I asked the chatbot assistance for help yet it was useless. Not good enough.

A good UX should be considered "autism-friendly", I have autism and the overstimulating colors makes my skin crawl.
Also, education never equals speed, leaderboards and limited time; your brain needs time, space, and away from traditional leaderboards in order to get a good education.
Just being honest, Eilert Hanoa, if you're reading this, fix Kahoot's UX, make it autism-friendly and make sure that there's an option to remove leaderboards, speed and timer. If you do that, then that's great.
It's sad to see that other autistic people suffered the same fate as me; Kahoot literally ruined my life, and my academic passion. 10/10
