3 August edit. I read the email from 27 July and it states, to avoid cancellation I should pay 4 and something euros. But I want it cancelled so why would I pay and have to go through this again. Jesus 😔😡😪. Just remove me and all information and we can all just move on with our lives.
and my reply to Ionos after them answering below. This is obviously not an isolated incident and I'm not the only one receiving emails like this. You make it very hard and complicated to cancel, shouldbe as easyto cancelas it is to sugn up. It is horrible to receive these emails after the fact of having a cancellation confirmation from you. They are sent in a threatening way and not pleasant to receive. If I were you, I would send one email but in a friendly tone, not tons of emails like you do.

To start: The cacellation is not as simple as just cancelling online, you have to call.
I finally received a cancelation confirmation on 15 of June, I have the e-mail in front of me. Since then I have received an e-mail on 22 June, 23 June, 6 July, 20 July, 27 July. When will you stop asking for money for the account I have a cancellation confirmation for??? Absolutely the worst company for trying to cancel an account. If I ever were to need a hosting service, I would never ever contact Ionos ever again.

We can confirm that your service was successfully cancelled in June. Following the cancellation, an invoice and subsequent credit note were issued for the period between June 16 and July 4, 2026.
As outlined in our follow-up email sent on July 27, there is still a small remaining balance on your account. You can find our bank details and step-by-step payment instructions in the confirmation email we sent you on June 22. Please only make the payment of the amount mentioned in the email sent of July 27th.
With regards to the latest email that states that: "to avoid cancellation please..." we ask you to kindly ignore this statement as your contract is cancelled, therefore even if you proceed with payment, the contract will not be reactivated. We will contact our internal team to improve this communication as we understand it can be misleading.
If you have any trouble locating that email or have further questions about your statement, please reach out to our support team directly—we’re more than happy to help you clear this up!

I didn't wanted to renew. All hostings just cancell everyting and trying because of nonpay.
Now layers calling me from Ionos because they say I have to pay fro what i did't wanted.

I have domains with 1&1 Ionos since 2014 in Spain, it’s always being great! they have the best customer service, they are very professional, kind and helpful. Never had problems when contacting them and they always solve my web&domains issues. They are always up to date, so they suggest how to improve security measures for your email, domains and website. It’s not the cheapest company but definitely worth it. No headaches!
