worst delivery company, first time like a year ago, I bought an iphone 15, and it got stolen at the sorting center, no compensation or anything, now they be just taking my order to unnecessary locations

First deliver was with information
First deliver was with information, that delivery address is wrong. Then I changed delivery address to the inpost point near us. Day ago I received info that package was delivered, but I didn’t receive it and it wasn’t delivered to the point.

Notice to pick up a shipment that has not yet been dispatched
27/08/2026: I receive a notification that I can pick up the package at the requested location; when I go there, THERE IS NOTHING.
I CALL InPost; they confirm that the package IS STILL AT InPost and tell me to try again on 31/08/2026.
It was a mistake.
31/08/2026: New notification from InPost to pick up the package; this time, the package is actually there.
If I hadn't called InPost to follow up, what would have happened to the package?
