Very pleased with purchase.
Extremely well made.
Well packed and arrived quickly.
Thank you for the extras
I am really pleased with the hedgehog house I bought. It is beautifully made with quality materials that I could easily custom with a little outdoor animal safe paint. I can go to bed assured my hedgehogs are safe from predators due to the thoughtful design. I was also given a free bag of food and a water dish which is fantastic given the house itself was very reasonable.
All was sent packaged well and arrived promptly.

Quick delivery. Good product and size. Only downside, it's a bit flimsy. I expected it to be made more robust.

⁹Mixed experience. Customer service is ok with quick response but totally contradict themselves. Went with home and roost as their hutches appeared good quality. The sides of the hutches are well built but the roofs, flooring, back of hutch and batons used to support floors and roofs are so thin ive replaced floor and roof twice in 6 years. Hutch maintained, treated, covered in winter and rain. Lifted off the ground. Rabbits out most of the day and its warped. bunnies litter trained so they dont wee on hutch floor. Door no longer straight and secure. Floor rotted with nothing left to attach a new floor too. All surrounded floor supports rotted. I paint it every year. Its Left rabbits to escape now. Its a shame that the parts that take the most wear aren't better, thicker, quality materials. They said well its done well, its outside! Where else would you keep a 6 foot hutch! A shed would last a longer so why wouldn't a well maintained hutch?
(Chartwell 6 foot double hutch)
To add to response. They said years ago ..."we'll pass on details about the quality" but they clearly dont looking at other negative reviews as they poor quialty materials are the same. They dont want to build them to last, so you have to buy again. I'd like to say buy cheap buy twice. But what they charge, for you get is outrageous! And I was offered a 10pc discount incase anyone wonders and they wanted to invoice me for replacement parts. So you've lost a customer and won't be recommending anymore.

On time delivery and well made product. We did get the panels lined up wrong and had to take it apart. Wasn’t 100% clear that the sides had to go behind the front panel! Cats love it and it’s great they are loving outdoor time safely thank you.

Buy cheap, buy twice, they say; but once was one time too many. And it wasn't even cheap, especially when we had to pay a premium for delivery to Scotland (it's Mainland UK, guys!).
Materials are thin and flimsy. Guide holes are poorly aligned. Wood split in several places when screwing together. Instructions are hard to follow.
It was unclear on purchase that the 'roof' is made of some cheap-feeling plastic, not wood. We should have read the small print. Our confidence in it is very low.
The finished item feels shoddy, with misaligned sections and gaps. It seems barely weatherproof, and I'm concerned for hens' welfare come winter. If it lasts half as long as its 2-year warranty I'll be surprised.
We felt obliged to reinforce the weedy legs and various doubtful joints by adding our own metal brackets. Not every buyer is going to have this sort of thing to hand, or the confidence to add their own hardware to what's provided.
The design is very poor.
For starters the 4ft coop is cramped inside, our two bantams and one big hen are ok but I imagine more birds than this would be pushing the limits of living space. And the nesting boxes are frankly for pigeons: I can't see an average sized hen getting in them. But at least the chooks will be huddling together - they will need to, to combat the inevitable draughts.
The pivoting 'roof' is held on with just two cheapo screws: I added my own washers to try to ensure it'll keep working once the thin wood sides inevitably warp. Who ever heard of a wood screw being used as a vital hinge, a part that you are going to open and close daily?! Given the leverage on the thin wood frame it's going to be interesting to see how long this optimistic arrangement lasts.
The roof pitch is inadequate to ensure rain runoff, so we modified the build to raise the front lip of the coop by adding our own wood strip. The two terribly shoddy plastic clips supplied to hold the roof at an angle are simply inadequate. If you don't perform your own modification and addition to the design, it is unclear how the coop is supposed to keep the rain out, long term. Just as unclear is what to do to prevent the lid (I hesitate to call it a roof) from simply lifting open in a high wind. Once open, it would inevitably tear from its hinges. No catch is provided to secure the front of the lid, so we are trying to devise our own. This is a daft oversight on the part of the manufacturers.
The sliding floor tray should help make cleaning easier. However it's very loose in its slot and only held in with two of those crappy plastic toggles. A determined fox or badger could very well push the floor aside far enough to get a snout in. To prevent this from happening we had to add our own stoppers to the rear of the coop, and additional plastic toggles on the front side (which you do want to be able to slide out as intended).
We really wanted to like this product because Home and Roost seem like a great bunch of folks. And we would love to support British manufacturing. But the quality of this chicken coop is indistinguishable from imported tat. If this is the standard of something proudly British made then I despair.

This coop and run has been ideal for a broody hen and her chicks. It is lightweight enough to move around easily yet sturdy enough to keep out predators.
I would definitely buy another one when needed.

The run was damaged and rather flimsy. My husband had thrown away the packaging so we were not able to return it. We will have to repair if for our daughter's guinea pigs when they come to stay.

Well priced. Prompt delivery. I haven’t assembled it yet but quality looks good.

Excellent delivery and Hutch is well made and strong. We had a couple of little hitches when putting it together top screw holes were out of line with wood, it was easy to over come by drilling new holes. And a couple of things weren't the same on instructions as they were in reality, but nothing you couldn't work out yourself.

Great friendly helpful company to deal with. I ordered the wrong run by mistake and they sorted it out for me. How a company should be. Hutch and run are great, cannot fault, thank you.
