Hi Mike, this really is not how it should work, and we are sorry you are dealing with it.
The whole point of a screen like this is that it stays simple while you ride, and instead you are sitting there waiting for a page to switch. That is not the standard we want to be known for.
The good news is that what you describe is almost always down to the software, and we can push an update to your screen remotely to fix the page switching and the response speed.
You do not have to send anything back or take anything apart. We have mailed you about it, so just reply there and we will get it running properly and compensate you for the hassle.

Outstanding service and product
My mistake was to order what I thought was the right unit for my 2018 BMW R1200RT - suffice to say, it did not fit! Charyan and Akin could not have been more helpful - I sent images of the bike's mount to them, they knew I needed their 5" option and despatched it immediately, without waiting for me to return the other 7" unit I had purchased.
Tracking information was supplied and it arrived within 4 days - unpacked, installed, operational in less than 1 minute - fantastic item and superb service.

I bought a GS Goods 7inch car play unit…
I bought a GS Goods 7inch car play unit just before Christmas and it's excellent. I just had to plug the unit into my official BMW cradle and set the unit up and everything worked exactly as it should. The screen is nice and big, it's excellent and very clear and easy to use. Haven't been able to use the unit in bright sun light yet, as it's winter time here in Ireland. Looking forward to giving the GS Car Play Unit plenty of use.
