I contacted Good Move to sell my house quickly. They gave me an initial valuation, but I did expect this valuation to go down as they had not viewed the property. After the surveyor visited the property Good Move declined to purchase the house as it needed too much work done to it. They then offered to sell the house online with Rightmove and Zoopla, at no cost to myself. It had a few interests but no offer therefore after a month I decided to go with a local estate agent. I must stress that throughout this time the staff at Good Move (Greg and Sophie) were nothing but hard working, courteous and professional. Each email was answered swiftly and I was kept informed of every visit to the property. I would recommend Good Move to anyone wanting a quick sale. But also to read the information on their website, as the chances are that the valuation of the house will decline after they see the property.

We have had a long and complicated buying process through which our solicitors have been less than communicative, but Zoe has been more than helpful through every stage and has keep us informed and understanding each stage of the process. Everyone knows selling a house can be one of the most stressful of times. Goodmove appointed Zoe as a liaison between all parties involved in the sale. I purchased a house through Good Move. From putting in offers to completion, there was always someone at Good Move ready to help. I viewed the property multiple times - even after my offer was accepted- and there was never an issue to do so. Zoe in the after sales team is on point and kept the ball rolling, answering queries from me, the seller and both sets of solicitors. Brilliant.

Marcus was very understanding when we had to cancel our agreement. I and my wife were planning to move back to Japan on December 8th. However, she broke her hip last Friday and will not be able to take a long haul flight for at least three months.

I didn't go ahead with their offer to buy my house but I had an excellent experience dealing with Ryan who was extremely helpful. Goodmove seem to be the one serious house buying company and they understand the market in the North of England. They offered me 70% of the market value which is probably fair given the type and location of the property.

Good process with a number of challenges as you would expect
The best part of my experience was Marcus Edgey. He was available on WhatsApp with an immediate response to every question and he was the main reason I completed a process that I could easily have otherwise abandoned
I hope his boss sees this and gives him a serious pay rise
