This company recently changed their kidney food for cats. We've been a long time user (we run a micro-rescue & have used it for years), and the product went from having tons of hearts (basically the meds in the bag) to having so few, you can't find them. The quality control is terrible, each kernel is a different color from bag to bag, the weight is about ½ if what it used to be, & the oily consistency (quality) is gone. I am so disappointed, I have a male cat who relies on this, & he's back to being symptomatic after they changed their formula (licking, problems w urination etc). Don't waste your money, it's expensive, and NOT worth it now

I purchased the wet renal food for my dog and he loves it. Unlike most of the prescription renal food, this has a good texture and is very moist. This food is also low in phosphorus and lower in protein and fat than many of the prescription foods. When your dog has kidney disease, it can be a challenge to find something they will eat. Another benefit is not having to get a prescription.
