Very bad customer service related to payment reconciliation. There is a small amount in dispute, which they claim, that they paid to us back, but it never has landed on any of our bank accounts. Based on this they have issued invoice, which we are expected to pay. We refuse. They promised to send us a proof of payment. In the meantime, they have send a case to Debtist and we received multiple requests to pay an amount, which is already three times higher than initial one. Any emails re reconciliation have a standard answer - we are working on your case. Still our credit history is deteriorated.

They are enforcing an extra 19 euros monthly fee on my subscription because my newest license is less than 2 years old, and they disregarded my previous EU driver's license.
For context,
- I have a German driver's license, which is less than 2 years old based on a non-EU license.
- I also have a Czech driver's license based on a non-EU driver's license, which is more than 2 years old.
- I have held a non-EU driver's license for almost 20 years.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid them 100%
I would never recommend this company. At the end of my subscription, I received a final invoice with unjustifiably high charges amounting to thousands of euros.
This was my second subscription with them. During the contract, I was given a damaged car with a malfunctioning air conditioning system. The vehicle spent almost a month in the repair shop, yet I was still charged my full subscription fee, including for a second month. On top of that, they kept the rental replacement car while continuing to charge me for the subscription.
Their customer service is extremely poor. They do not respond to emails or registered letters. If they tell you to contact them by email, phone, or anything else, don’t waste your time—they never answer. The only solution now is legal action. When they do reply, it is infrequent and provides no clear explanations or resolutions.
Overall, this has been a terrible experience. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to stay away.

I have been a client of Finn for 4 years, and I just made my 5'th year subscription. As long as Finn exists, and it is possible, I will be a Finn enjoyer.

Anything wrong - Will never replay agan and Will also recommend friends not to take it.
It is a rob (eg wheel that explode for industry problem and I need to pay). I also received the answer below that demonstrates exactly what I was saying regarding the credibility of FINN - no fault, you pay. NEVER RENT A CAR WITH FINN, all is hidden in their wonderful conditions

Update:
I'm very happy that everything worked out! After my husband left a review and contacted the company on LinkedIn, their team replied quickly, found another car, and delivered it very fast.
Even though the new model is a bit more expensive, they kept the original price from our first contract, which we really appreciated.
We're both happy with the result. I just wish it hadn't taken so much time and effort before someone from the management noticed the problem.
=================================
My husband’s company arranged a car rental through FINN for his work. It turned out to be a terrible mistake.
Everything went smoothly—until the contract was signed.
When we ordered the car, we were promised delivery by June 17th (Contract number: 59800647814, in case FINN wants to verify this on their end). Based on that date, we planned our vacations, trips, and family schedule.
Then came the shock: customer support informed us that the car will not arrive on time. When will it be delivered? They have no idea. Their only response, for an entire week now, has been: “As soon as we know, we’ll let you know.”
My husband is stunned, and so am I. We currently feel like hostages, and here’s why:
The Cancellation Trap: We can only cancel the contract without penalties after a 6-week delay from the promised delivery date. Otherwise, we lose money—and I honestly don’t even know what happens to the €1500 fee that’s charged at every contract signing.
No Delivery Date in Sight: They still cannot give us a new date. We’ve been waiting a week for an update, and we still hear: “We’ll tell you as soon as we know.” How are we supposed to plan anything under these conditions?
The "Available" Insult: On their website right now, the exact same car is available (even in two colors!) with a delivery time of just 2 weeks. When we asked to switch our order to one of these available cars, they flatly refused.
No Escalation: There is no way to escalate this issue to a manager or someone with real authority. We are stuck in a loop with no solutions.
To make matters worse, when the first delay appeared, the website offered us alternatives—the same cars, but for €100 more per month. This makes me suspicious: Is this part of their strategy? Are they intentionally delaying deliveries to pressure customers into either paying more or forfeiting their €700 cancellation fee?
We are in a state of shock. We are now desperately scrambling to find alternatives and reorganize everything for ourselves and our children.
I will keep you updated as this unfolds. But for now, please think twice before using FINN.

Quick easy booking service! I have been with Finn for over 6 months now and I will renew my contract. The car is very new and the prices are affordable! Highly recommended!

Terrible service. The brand new car I leased broke down within 24 hours and I had to organise everything from it getting towed to the garage to finding a rental car to replace it. There were 4 different parties involved who all didn’t communicate with each other, leaving it up to me. FINN doesn’t answer urgent emails for days and then expected full leasing fares even though I was stuck with a tiny rental car and all the stress of the situation . Absolute nightmare and very unorganized and unprofessional. I don’t know who runs that business but it has the feeling of a couple of 18 year old economics students, who thought they had a bright idea. Doesn’t work in the implementation. I’ve heard similar stories from other customers. They drive down their own costs at the costs of the customers.

I love the online experience but there’s a human connection gap. Leasing a car is an important decision, I’ll feel safer and in better hands if there was someone I could speak with on the phone or at least a fast mode of communication when you have questions or issues
I completed my car application, but it took a while before I got any update and I couldn’t speak to anyone to ask about the process.
Like I said, it’s an important/expensive decision, speaking to a human would help the process

The rental itself went well, but the end-of-contract process completely ruined the experience for me.
After returning the car, I received a final invoice of around €2,000 for what were mostly very small cosmetic marks and superficial scratches.
The most surprising part was a charge of more than €1,000 for tiny marks on the rear bumper that I genuinely never even noticed during the entire rental period.
I sent several detailed emails formally disputing the invoice and explaining why I believed the charges were disproportionate. Despite this, FINN still attempted to debit the disputed amount directly from my bank account before properly addressing my concerns.
Throughout the process I stayed cooperative and polite, but there was absolutely no flexibility or willingness to find a reasonable compromise. Everything was justified through “industry standards” and diminished value calculations, even for extremely minor cosmetic imperfections.
I understand that cars must be returned in good condition, but this honestly felt excessive from a customer perspective, especially considering:
- there was no accident,
- the marks were very minor,
- and the vehicle was returned well below the agreed mileage allowance.
What disappointed me most was the feeling that customer goodwill and proportionality simply did not matter once the final invoice was issued.
Because of this experience, I personally would not recommend using the service to anyone.

I leased a vehicle from them. When I returned the vehicle, the cost of repairing 3 minor paint scratches was as follows:
3,342.90 Euros.
Yes, three minor paint scratches.
3,342.90 Euros.
I paid it and they assured me that was the final cost upon return of their vehicle.
Nearly one year later they now indicate that I stil owe them 500 Euros.
For what? No explanation has been provided.
I will not give them another cent. I don't owe it to them. I don't even live in Germany anymore.
It's your money. Your choice. You have been warned.

Update: 21 May 2026
Since I have posted this review, FINN were suspicious that my review was not valid, so Trustpilot asked me to provide a reference number. I provided the contract number and License plate number of the vehicle I had leased from them.
Within two days, FINN had replied (See below) and told me that they have cancelled the fee, the EXCESS fee of 500 EUR, which was billed to me, for no reason, for a vehicle which I returned to them NEARLY ONE YEAR AGO.
So they can casually just... cancel a fee, just as easily as they can initiate a fee, without any explanation.
Mind you, had I paid the 500 EUR excess fee, billed to me one year later, without any explanation as to WHY I was being billed, I would have paid nearly 4,000 EUR in total... for THREE PAINT Scratches.
Nearly FOUR THOUSAND EUROS, for THREE MINOR PAINT SCRATCHES, regardless of the account having been closed down last year.
This company is either in serious financial trouble... or someone in their department is simply up to no good.
They are NOT a reliable or HONEST company. They do not respect true German values.
Being that their Google Maps location is no longer visible, due to all the negative reviews, that should tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about their practices.
What an absolute shame. Honestly. What a shame. If it weren't for their shady business practices, it would have been an enjoyable experience.

Customer service.
We've been waiting three months for them to fix the car. Neither Finn nor Claimini has given us a final solution.
They keep telling us they'll send a tow truck to take the car away for repairs, and...
It's been like this since February.
New car with no issues, reasonable prices, great car selection and friendly customer care.
