Breach of guidelines
Warning for this company
Warning for this company, I ordered goods from them but when I opened the product was completely dried out and the first contact was made 3 months ago. I then asked them to send a new product which they did not do...they then only offer a credit receipt from them which means that I have to pay the shipping cost. After many emails where they respond with a prescribed template they use. We apologize and want to give you a gift certificate for the product but not the shipping cost. It has now been three months and nothing has happened. I give up now but really want to warn about this fraudulent company

Ferber Painting claim to have a 24/7 chat service with a 10-minute response time. Not available when I was shopping. They claim to have a 24/7 email service with a 30-minute response time. Not even close, and I sent three emails before I received any response. They advertise delivery in 3-5 working days. In my case it was five working days before my order even reached their preferred courier, and ten before it reached me. Their responses to my queries regarding the delayed delivery were also slow and disappointing.
And as an aside, I have no idea, as per the instructions of the wood stripper I bought, how it is possible to apply a 2-3mm layer of something that has a similar viscosity to water.

Stump Destroyer, Doubt it Works. The instructions on the website specifically states 'pour the powder' yet the product is a clear odourless liquid. The website goes on to say 'Soak the powder with flammable liquid and set alight'. The product in sot a powder. The instructions on the packet state to pour the 'liquid' into the drilled holes and top up with water! I queried this with Ferber Painting who stated that the product is a clear liquid and should be diluted in the stump. No ratios given. The entire bottle treated only one stump as the liquid dissipated into the drilled holes. As the description does not match the product or either set of instructions, I have absolutely no confidence that this product will work. Again, the website states a visible result in 48Hrs. This is based on setting the stump alight. This is not the instruction on the product.

Money-back guarantee is misleading
I bought Ferber Painting’s Gravel and Stone Binder because the website clearly states that they offer a money-back guarantee. The website says that if the product does not meet expectations or does not deliver the expected results when applied according to their recommendations, the customer can request a refund without conditions.
Unfortunately, when I asked for my money back because the product did not give the promised result, Ferber Painting did not provide a refund to my original payment method. Instead, I was offered a voucher/store credit.
This is not what I understand by a “money-back guarantee.” If a company advertises “money back,” I expect my money to be returned — not to be forced to buy another product from the same company.
I am very disappointed with both the product and the customer service. In my opinion, the “money-back guarantee” advertised on the website is misleading in practice.
I would not recommend Ferber Painting until they actually honour the money-back guarantee they advertise.
I previously provided a lot of information, including details about the weather conditions during and after application; everything was prepared and applied correctly. The initial result was good, and the adhesive hardened, but it started washing off after the first rain. Your staff offered a refund in the form of a voucher, but I have no use for that, as I do not wish to order anything from you again...

This company is absolutely terrible
This company is absolutely terrible! Not only do they not offer ANY help or guidance when using their OWN microcement product, they do not stand behind their own stated policies! None of their products came labeled, zero instructions were provided and I never received a second shipment and now they refuse to refund me, only offering store credit, despite their policing stating otherwise. There are so many other options for microcement, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they will take your money and offer you NOTHING in return!
UPDATE PER THEIR RESPONSE BELOW: I literally asked them if their product should be applied over a waterproof membrane and they told me I should check with the manufacturer of the membrane! I then asked if the white color was off-white as shown on their website pic and they verified that it was, yet when applied it is sanitarium white! It also was not labeled when received so I have no idea what color is actually on the wall. As for the refund, they refuse to offer me an actual refund for a product they verified was lost in shipment and will ONLY offer a credit despite their stated policy ensuring otherwise. Now a bot contacts me every day with the same canned message "apologizing" that they cannot offer a refund. I never write reviews but I should have read them before working with a foreign company as negative every review posted here is COMPLETELY ACCURATE. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT AND YOU SHOULD SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
