EPODEX 2K tile paint
I recently used EPODEX 2K tile paint for our floor for a renovation project and was very pleased with the results. Ordering went smooth and delivery was quick. The product arrived in 4-5days. The colour is very nice and it looks very durable.

Matte PU Sealer is VERY shiny and darkens the colour of the microcement.
We went for the pastel yellow microcement for bathroom walls product, with matte finish on the sealant. We were pleased with how it looked once all applied (though needed more liquid than was provided originally - take note!). However, when we painted the sealant on we were really disappointed by how much it darkened the yellow colour - it went from a sandy desert yellow, to more like a deep ochre - and, worse than that, it looked incredibly shiny. It was supposed to be matte (and perhaps it is less shiny than the other option I don't know) but honestly to me it looks more like a 'wet-look' effect. I really can't stand shiny things like that, I wanted a natural looking finish, and neither so dark. After all the work of applying it, and the expense, which were both considerable, it feels really disappointing to have something I really don't like. We will have to sand it all back and paint it I think. Please consumers be aware, it darkens and becomes, to my and my partners eyes, VERY shiny, once you seal it. None of the videos or images I saw on the website or elsewhere gave an impression of how this finish would look.

The Epodex videos don't show a true…
The Epodex videos don't show a true picture of the product. The product is hard to trail on, drying before you can get a section done, which means alot of sanding and that can alter the colour of the product. We've put it in 2 bathrooms and it's come out rough, almost rustic and patchy in colour. We've followed the instructions of drying and sealing, but the overall finish is not as demonstrated int he AI photos Epodex uses. Overall; I wouldn't use the product for a bathroom, even with a matt sealant and we feel like we have wasted money.

The finish you have received is not defective and does not indicate any issue with the product itself. Colour variation is a natural characteristic of microcement and is clearly illustrated throughout the example images displayed on our website.
The degree of smoothness or visible patching in a microcement finish is determined by the application technique rather than the material. Achieving a more uniform, smoother appearance requires additional care and precision during application, and further sanding can help create a more consistent, monochromatic finish.
These characteristics are therefore influenced by the installer’s process and workmanship, not by the microcement supplied.

Poor customer service, fake delivery information
Bought a large amount of products. Wanted to order a colour additive which stated it would be delivered 1-3 days. Only to find out it is shipped from Germany. It was not picked up next day from German depot, was lied to by customer service. I rang the delivery company which contradicted the information from epodex team. Obviously there is no way in a billion years it could get here in 1 day. So asked them to state the correct timings on their website. It also states in the delivery terms that packages are sent immediately - this is also not true, there is a daily cut-off time - again this should be corrected on the website. Offered them ways to resolve the matter, nothing was taken seriously, no offer of free return, or discount on future purchases. Disapointed by customer service.

Hello Marie,
We are very sorry to hear this, and we sincerely apologize for the situation.
We packed the order the day after it was placed and sent it with the courier. Unfortunately, we do not know what happened to the shipment – once the package leaves our warehouse, we no longer have any control over the delivery process or the delivery time, and the courier haven't reported any problems with the delivery.
We will of course report this issue to the courier company. We kindly ask you to send us an email, and we will of course offer appropriate compensation for this inconvenience.
Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding.
Kind regards,
EPODEX Team
