Good communication, beautiful finished product

Ordered an executive desk from here. Paid a lot for it. Looks very clean in the pics, but the actual product looks like a clunky block you get from a discount store. Nothing like the picture. Certain parts that were pictured online were either removed from the design, like the wood support between the desk legs, or downgraded, like the metal supports on top of the drawers replaced with a big block of wood. I was expecting a desk that showcases professionalism and I got something I could have done in my garage. Deeply disappointed, will be requesting a refund.

We are renovating our bathroom and ordered a beautiful floating walnut vanity, spending over $2,000USD on the item. During manufacturing the team worked with us on the dimensions and the flow of the product. Then they stained it; over-stained it. It came out looking like cheap overstained cherry red furniture from a discount store; nothing like walnut. So now - 8 weeks later - I have a bathroom renovation that is well underway and the entire design hinged on this one piece. Now we have a cherry red overly stained vanity with absolutely no color variation, no wood grain can be seen, and zero assembly instructions (and no videos on their YouTube channel).

While the wood is absolutely solid and the unfinished photos were beautiful, this company truly doesn’t know how to stain wood and completely ruined the beauty of the natural wood and colors.

This was our test order before a much larger order was placed. Once we unpackaged the bench, we had to disinfect it because it was packaged in rubber wrap and covered in mold. The base of the leg was broken. Once we repaired that we built the bench and it looks much less impressive than your marketing pictures. We will be placing our larger order with a more expensive local milling company.

This truly is a one of a kind piece, it was so much fun to be part of the process and give feedback to the team as they were shaping, sanding and staining. I really got to make it my own which was unexpected and incredible!

Quality wood.

The piece was smaller then I thought, but overall it was done really well and it’s beautiful!!

I love the coffee table. The only thing that was a little disappointing is a description of the picture and thought the table would be a little bigger,

My custom product FAILED miserably. It cracked after arrival because the wood they used was wet as well as poorly wrapped when shipped that caused damage to the finish. In addition they did not send the mounting hardware as promised. They agreed to send the bracket and matching stain for the finish touch up but it has never arrived and now the product has cracked and they want me to find a technician to fix it. Poor workmanship, I'm disapointed and want a full refund.

This company builds the most gorgeous furniture. The customer service is incredible. I received frequent emails with images as they progressed in the building of my coffee table. I saw the raw material table, then the stain process, the measurement proofs, etc. They even modified the table to my liking during the process. I’ve never worked with a furniture company with this level of customer service. If you purchase from them, your piece will be worth every penny.

.I didn’t want to write this, but they have left me no choice. Ordered a beautiful coffee table that they claim is their best seller. OMG. Ordered the most expensive one because it was the largest. (over $2700.)Was sent pictures of the progression of the table as it was worked on.Finally, they sent photos of the finished product. Unfortunately it was agreed-upon to send it.When it arrived, they had cut off the legs and replaced them with a new carving representing closer to the picture on their website. Well, this totally ruined it by it not being one continuous piece, didn’t match up to the edges nicely at all, the color was not what was chosen, there was writing on the underside of the table (numbers in pencil) that was sealed in and not removed first, didn’t sit correctly and would fall over if you put your feet on the table or wanting to say play a game on top of the table right?making it very dangerous because it weighed over 100 pounds I’m guessing. We tried messaging them numerous times to ask for a return label. It did fall under their specifications of returning meaning it was defective. Didn’t look like the picture. Very unacceptable and very shotty work. I’ve never been this confused. This coffee table did not represent what was pictured on their website! So needless to say, they have drug this thing out past the 30 days and so now they have a legitimate reason to not accept it back. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy, which I don’t really have any, but you get my drift. Do not buy from these people. I don’t understand how they can get away with this.

We are very happy with our new coffee table. We really wanted something unique and organic. We were sent photos along the way and had option to customize as we liked making the top asymmetrical. Great quality, easy assembly.

Received damaged coffee table, immediately asked for return as per their stated policy.
They ignore my emails, do not answer the telephone.
I made a formal complaint with Visa and will be filing a consumer fraud complaint if they don't refund my money and arrange for the return. Additionally the other matching piece I ordered never arrived. If you are not ok with damaged furniture, false return policies, and fraudulent business dealings in failing to deliver what you paid for, than why deal with these folks.

Product quality is terrible. Your website makes everything look wonderful but when the pieces arrive, they are poorly sanded and stained with scratched throughout; don't fit properly; have broken and chipped wood; pieces of wood are unstained; and nothing fits together properly. I asked for a return on five separate occasions and you refused each time. Read the return policy on the website closely. I would never recommend anyone purchase from you. Your website sucks customers in with your photos and then you deliver garbage. Do not buy from them! It is a gimmick.

Beautiful piece of furniture, but for the price, I was not expecting it to come in so many pieces requiring assembly. I also had to sand down some of the joiners in order to assemble the piece.

Again, I’m happy I got it, but for the price, I was expecting better quality. I will not be purchasing from ET Woodworks again.

High quality product, love it!

We ordered a desk and appreciated the amount of choice offered - size, finish. The wood and stain are gorgeous, and communication along the way was top notch, including pictures as the piece was being built.

As much as I love the idea of this product and creative company, there are some challenges ...

Product arrives in a crate that takes a lot of effort to open, with significant materials for large item pick up or dumping. I mention this to set expectations and acknowledge they are not white glove delivery. The wood (real wood! what a novelty in a sea of veneer) is very heavy, so if you don't have a lot of strength, you will need help uncrating and assembling (fair enough).

Our desk suffered some damage en route - scuffs, chips, and gouges. For the price paid, it is disappointing to receive an item with multiple areas of damage we need to repair.

Assembly - the three pieces don't quite fit together, so the desk is wobbly and unstable. The packing included six screws, but there were only four holes for screws to connect the parts. And there are no instructions included.

All in all, the material is gorgeous but it does not meet our standards for the price or the effort to put together.

I emailed the company today with my concerns, not seeking recourse but to give them input. I will not buy from them in the future and hope they can work out the kinks.

This company has beautiful designs and is very good at marketing but we will never buy from them again due to their quality issues and misleading marketing. It is unfortunate as there were several other products we were interested in purchasing and I have a custom project I had hoped to build with them.
I'm sure there are customers that have been satisfied with their product but I would say that our product was acceptable but certainly not what would be expected for a $2,000+ piece of furniture. However, based on our experience during the process, I was expecting a product that we would have to throw in the trash and knew we would never get our money back from a company in Vietnam. We were happy that the product was usable.
When we purchased the product , we thought we were getting a solid piece of furniture, but when we got a video from the company, realized that it would arrive in pieces to be assembled which we decided was acceptable. I'm sure I missed it but didn't realize the product would be built after it was ordered; especially when the email with my order confirmation said "We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent". The long construction process did not bother us, but then we got an update on our furniture with pictures and showing measurements. The measurements did not match the measurements shown on the website and more troubling is that the unit had 4 shelves, rather than 3 shelves as shown on the website, so the clearance between shelves was very limited. The website showed that our product was "in stock" and we asked if they could ship a product from stock with the proper measurements. We were told "all of our products are made to order". I looked at their website and every product I viewed showed as "in stock". I don't believe that the company would have corrected this but we told them to go ahead and ship it since we didn't want to start the process over from the beginning.
Our product ultimately arrived along with an email with a 2 minute instruction video. There were multiple pieces that did not match the instruction video but ultimately got it together by beating the pieces together with a rubber mallet as shown on the instruction video. It wasn't what I would call easy and the only damage we had was some minor splitting of the wood as it went together. From a distance the furniture looks good and you can't see any quality issues until you get up close. The furniture does have a bit of an orange tint when in the direct sunlight but fortunately ours is situated where it gets a minimum amount of direct sunlight.
If you move forward with a purchase from this company, I wish you luck. I hope in the future the company will take some of the money that is spent on the constant marketing emails, pop up ads, and slick (although misleading) website and invest that in a manufacturing quality process.

Ordered a custom wood bench for our entry way. Great communication and updates on the production of the bench. Excellent product and craftsmanship. Fast 3-4 week turn around time frame. Would definitely order again.

The product looks very good and the quality seems exactly as described. It appears convenient and useful. Even though I haven’t purchased it yet, the customer service is very good and very responsive. I’m quite impressed and will definitely consider buying it in the future<3
