Disappointing handling of an official dealer complaint
I am not reviewing the quality of CRISTEL cookware, but CRISTEL as a company and how it supports its customers.
I purchased a CRISTEL pan from one of its official dealers and later learned that it was a display item, shipped without its original packaging or documentation. None of this was disclosed before the purchase, despite charging the full retail price.
I contacted CRISTEL, and to their credit they acknowledged that the dealer had not complied with their own quality and service standards. However, that was where their involvement ended. They simply reminded the dealer of their requirements but offered no replacement, no partial refund, and no other meaningful solution.
The pan itself appears to be new and in perfect condition. My disappointment is therefore not with the product, but with CRISTEL's attitude towards customer service. A premium brand should stand behind its standards when an authorised dealer fails to meet them—not merely acknowledge the problem and leave the customer to bear the consequences.
Premium quality is measured not only by the product itself, but also by how a company handles situations like this. Unfortunately, my experience with CRISTEL did not reflect the premium values the brand promotes.
