Cheese Yard- Poynton.

We had the fondue experience this time. We were made very welcome by the staff who remembered us from the afternoon Cheese experience. The fondue was delicious and tou could taste the wine and the cheese. Served with plenty of hot, new potatoes and bread to dunk and a generous plate of charcuterie and pickles. We bought some cheese before we left. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Thank you @ Cheeseyard

Wow, wow and wow again. Ordered my Dad the Rare Cheese Box for Father's Day and we couldn't be happier with the box. Lovely selection and amazing customer service. Following a slight issue with delivery, all was sorted within a few hours and Dad is enjoying the lovely selection of cheeses and accompanying crackers. Will definitely be booking the Cheese Afternoon Tea and recommending to friends.

I have, this morning visited the cheese shop in Knutsford as was looking forward to purchasing some different cheeses once again. I left empty handed as the lady behind the counter was ignorant and rude. I asked about a couple of cheeses, she reluctantly told me what they were, then proceeded to ignore me. My husband and I have purchased previously and bought many cheeses....we will not be doing so again

We have been to The Cheese Yard for Afternoon tea three or four times now and always had a fabulous experience. Today, we tried the Raclette and it did not disappoint. Once again, the food was amazing, the staff were so attentive and the atmosphere really relaxed. A special thank you as we were quite late because of a train delay but Vincent and his team were so accommodating. Our next visit was booked as we left. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

My dad and sister called in today and I am extremely unhappy with the treatment they received. The lady behind the counter was rude, snappy and not helpful at all! The only time she seemed happy to have them in the shop was as they were paying and leaving! She spoke over my dad and ignored my sister! Will not be visiting again.

This was our second visit to The Cheese Yard, and we were not disappointed.
This time we returned with friends and they loved it.
We had Afternoon Cheese and also a Raclette between 4 of us, which was delicious.
Love the team here Kelly and Emily were great , Kelly is brilliant and gives such great custom service and is extremely knowledgable about the products.
Like before we also left with several cheeses to enjoy at home.
We will definitely be back.

We had been waiting for so long since the booking to go for the Raclette Cheese experience and we weren't disappointed! Since the original booking for 5 changed to 4, the date changed, and one of the party had been diagnosed as coeliac weeks before gave them a challenge or two.

We were welcomed on arrival and the team immediately made us feel comfortable. We were explained that the gluten free raclette had been prepared in a separate environment, separate chef, and the schar bread was gluten and everything free.

A glass of rose prosecco, the raclette with cooker, the prosciutto, the bread, some warm boiled potatoes and pickles were laid on the table and we were left to our devices.

A truly different experience enjoyed by all. We will be back later in the year!!

Absolutely amazing, you get greeting as soon as you come in, drinks were offered very swiftly and then the cheese :) Everything was explained very clearly, the staff were very attentive empty glass....offered more.
The atmosphere was spot on, I will be returning for a day trip.

Sold me a wine that they DID NOT have in stock and sent me a totally different product instead to try and fob me off. This was a gift for my dad which has turned out to be the worst experience.

Found the Cheese Yard by accident - an email popped into my inbox out of the blue! Nearly binned it, but so glad I didn't. Purchased a hamper for my business partner, unfortunately one of the bottle's broke in transit - luckily the cheese and other wines were unaffected. I notified them and there was a no quibble refund. Feedback from the recipient was first class. I have since ordered several more hampers and I have no doubt that I will be back for more over the coming months. I just wish I lived near to the shop - would love to attend one of their cheese and wine tasting events. Sadly, we are a 4 hour drive away - but if we are ever in the area we will definitely pop in!
