I had a great experience working with Cad Crowd on the CAD development for a completely new product I’m creating. This was my first time going through the engineering and CAD process, and both Lucian and Liviu were incredibly helpful, responsive, and patient throughout the project.

Liviu took my initial concept, reference images, measurements, and functional requirements and turned them into a detailed, manufacturable design. He was very receptive to my feedback and made several adjustments to the proportions and dimensions until the design felt right. I especially appreciated that he considered not only the appearance of the product, but also the attachment mechanism, materials, tolerances, hardware, assembly, and how it would ultimately be prototyped and manufactured.

Communication was excellent throughout the process. Lucian was also extremely helpful in answering my questions, explaining what was included, and making sure I received all of the files I would need, including STEP files, STL files, engineering drawings, and the native editable CAD files.

Developing a brand-new physical product can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re new to product engineering, and they made the process much easier to navigate. I’m very happy with the final work and excited to move into the prototyping stage. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for professional CAD or product-development assistance.

I had a very disappointing experience with Cad Crowd as a freelancer.

I completed my profile, uploaded my portfolio, added my personal projects, and spent time setting everything up. However, whenever I needed help, I received no support at all.

I emailed the support team multiple times and never received a response. I also called the support number several times, but nobody answered. I even left a voicemail and still heard nothing back. If there was an issue with my account or profile, no one explained it to me.

As a freelancer, this was a complete waste of time. A platform should provide at least basic communication and support for the people using it. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I really appreciated the high level of communication and help I was given. I'm very new to this space and having people who, more or less, hand held me through the process was very welcomed. I will be a return user for sure and I highly recommend it to others.

We are developing a product with very little knowledge as to how to proceed. Our Cad Crowd team led by Lucian Cana, was awesome. The team was always quick to communicate. The suggestions provided were spot on,helpful, and easy to understand.Links were provided to sites that helped us with software.Cost involved was fair. I approached cad crowd with a concept for a built in bookshelf for my home. I needed plans for a carpenter to follow. The team at Cad Crowd was super responsive and paired me with an awesome designer at a reasonable price. He turned around a concept quickly and impressively, and we were able to get to a final design shortly thereafter. I'm now equipped with exactly what I need to get my bookshelf done. I was an engineer on this site for years looking for work here and there, and there is a lot advertised. The problem is the rates are criminally low for the people doing the work and then Cad Crowd also take a cut. After years of seeing nothing worth my time, finally someone reached out to me with a large project which would have required more people than just me and I had just the people to help! I tried to send him my linkedin profile so I could introduce him to my colleagues that could help him with my project and Cad Crowd banned me outright. I get their requirements to an extent but I'm just totally fed up of them and would not recommend to anyone buying or selling services.

The initial contact was clear and concise. Pricing was related fairly and without over-complication. The Cad tech who eventually performed the work was very communicative, responsive, and helpful.
