Hello Duncan,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are sorry if you feel that you weren't supported.

Having reviewed your case, we can see that you submitted the initial evidence for raising a chargeback on 26th October and we wrote to you on that day itself confirming that our Disputes team will review all the evidence and reach out to you if they need additional information or will provide a confirmation when they have raised a chargeback.

We'd be remiss if we didn't point out that Section 75 (Consumer Credit Act 1974) is only applicable to credit card purchases. That being said, your case in the queue for our Disputes Team to review, and they will do everything they can to assist you.

We recognise that whilst we had acknowledged the evidence you had submitted and advised you that your case will be reviewed by our Disputes team, we could have done a better job in keeping you updated and reassuring you. We humbly accept that we fell short of our standards here and will strive to do/be better.

Best wishes,
Currensea Team

Generally works well

A couple of glitches whilst trying to purchase train tickets in the USA. Card declined. In all fairness I contacted customer services and they replied very quickly stating that the method used was not secure enough. Got around the situation but the same happened on the buses in Chicago- luckily the bus driver let me on without payment on more than one occasion. Other than that the exchange rate and the method of use is very good.

The card anppears to be accepted…

The card anppears to be accepted everywhere. Whilst on holiday in France earlier this year my purse was stolen from my bag containing my bank card. Fortunately, I still had my Currensea card so was able to use that not only on holiday but also in the UK until I received my new bank card. My sister-in-law is now going to apply for a card too.

Easy app to use

Easy app to use, smooth transaction. Slight negative that I didn’t receive a reply to my email.
