BookaBuilderUK provides tradespeople with access to homeowner job opportunities; purchasing a membership does not mean that jobs are automatically awarded to you. If the opportunities you're receiving aren't suitable, we can review and adjust your account to improve their relevance.
Likewise, nobody is being "forced" to purchase another year. Membership renewal terms are agreed when joining, and members have the opportunity during their membership to notify us that they do not wish to renew.
If you believe you notified us correctly and this hasn't been reflected on your account, please contact us and we'll happily investigate it.

I paid £250 for their service and, in my experience, received absolutely no jobs in return. When I asked for my money back, they refused to refund me.
I feel completely ripped off and deeply disappointed with the way this company operates. Paying £250 and receiving nothing of value in return is unacceptable.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend BookaBuilder to anyone. Please be extremely careful before giving them your card details or paying for their services.

This is the worst app and job lead I have ever used, they told me it was £500 then next day scammed me for £1000 as they said would give me lots of commercial leads as my company has commercial engineers so that’s why it’s more expensive which I get, it’s been 4 months and nothing. Tried to call the guys several times and they don’t call you back or reply to messages stay clear absolute terrible service there is plenty of other good ones out there but avoid this one.

I'm disgusted with this so called company I was manipulated Into handing over £450 for 12 months of job leads asnswerd every phone call and message up until I paid them and then it was impossible to get hold of anybody wether that be txt or phone call after a couple of days I manged to get In contact with someone I told them I wanted to cancel as they had only sent 2 leads in a couple of days wich were not relevant to the work I provide there reply was you can't cancel your not allowed now you have paid so I deleted the app and took it as a loss and wanted nothing to do with them 12 month later there trying to get £700 off me because it was under a subscription but was told initially there's no contracts no subscriptions just pay for the year and that's it so today I have been forced to buy a token system off them with no subscription for£84 or il have to pay the £700 renewal fee if I refused to pay they would pass it on to a debt management company and would be a fault my credit score .
This company is dishonest, manipulative, and pressure you on the phone to buy packages before there boss sees that there giving you a bigger reduction I will be reporting these to trading standards and all media platforms.
Stay clear of these thief's

We can often review and adjust account settings to improve the relevance of leads, but we can only do so if we're made aware that there is an issue.
The description of our membership terms is also not accurate. Members receive the full benefit of the membership they have purchased before any renewal becomes due, and the renewal terms are clearly explained when joining.
We appreciate that you're entitled to your opinion, but it's equally important that reviews accurately reflect how our service operates.
As a tradesman
As a tradesman , I would advise staying away from this shambles of a business. Use local tradesmen recommended by local people. Not a directory service skimming money off of every job posted.

Did what I asked for so I was pleased
As I remember it, they didn't arrive when they said they would but did phone to tell me. I wanted a cooker unit removed and taken away and replaced with a small fridge/freezer. The work was done as I requested so I was pleased.

In my experience, this company was extremely disappointing. I found the customer service to be impolite and rude , and I felt that the promises made about providing leads were not fulfilled it is all bullshit !
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this service even for free of charge ! I believe it was a waste of my time and money, and I would encourage others to research carefully before signing up.
This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a lead-generation service.

I have sent emails to "bookabuilder" telling them a Builder Nelson Plastering And Rendering Ltd he is on there website who is a scammer. He scammed me 3000k £ never replied to court letters got CCJ against him & this guy is still on there website.
This is how serious this website is .. They let cowboy builders on these panles & people will think its trustworthy beacuse these website they do checks.. when actully they host Scam cowboys !

A bunch of scammers
A bunch of scammers. After signing the contract, all leads stop coming in. A few days later, they call to pressure you into setting up a website. They hide the fact that they operate on a B2B basis, meaning you have no right to cancel the contract. After a year, they sent me a bill for 700, even though I had sent them a message cancelling the subscription. It cost me 1,500, and I got absolutely nothing out of it. Shameless scammers.

The number of available opportunities can vary depending on location, trade category, season and homeowner demand. Membership does not guarantee a fixed number of leads or a particular financial return, as the outcome also depends on how quickly businesses respond, their profile, pricing and conversion of opportunities into work.
Website services are offered separately and are entirely optional. Customers are not required to purchase a website as part of their membership.
We are unable to investigate the specific renewal or cancellation mentioned here without identifying the account. Following texts and telephone conversations with the tradesman, It was quite clear that he was not capable of carrying out the job. The job was to fix the flush on an enclosed cistern. He did not even know what this was. The job is due to be rescheduled as he needed to get parts (?). He definately will not be allowed to come back!!!
