High fees, zero accountability - horrible experience
Very poor experience. As a buyer, I felt misled.
The platform makes it clear they are not responsible for vehicle condition, but in practice they do nothing to ensure listings reflect reality. There appears to be no meaningful due diligence - what you see in photos is not AT ALL what you get.
Despite this, they charge a significant fee for the service.
After purchasing a car, I discovered multiple defects that were not apparent from the listing nor during the inspection I arranged and pay for MYSELF. While I was still assessing repair costs and next steps, I started receiving debt collection letters with added interest and fees, without clear prior warning.
Overall, the setup places all risk on the buyer while offering very limited value in return. I would not use this platform again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

At the same time, we do not believe your review gives a fair picture of Bidders Highway’s role in the transaction. We are a marketplace platform that facilitates the auction process and presents the seller’s information, but we are not the seller, we do not own the vehicle, and we are not the party to the purchase agreement.
We do carry out interviews and collect documentation for each listing, but the seller is responsible for the accuracy of the vehicle description. Buyers are also encouraged to review the listing carefully, ask questions, and inspect the vehicle where possible before placing a binding bid.
In this case, the transaction was completed and the vehicle was paid for. Any claim regarding the vehicle’s condition therefore needs to be handled with the seller. Even so, we have remained in contact and have tried to assist within the scope available to us as a platform.
Regarding the invoice, we do not send matters to collection without prior reminders. Multiple reminders were sent in this case, and we were also in ongoing contact with you regarding the outstanding fee.
We fully understand that discovering issues after a purchase is frustrating. However, we do not think it is fair to describe this as “zero accountability” on our part when the responsibilities in the transaction were clearly defined, the purchase was completed, and we made efforts to help throughout the process.

Very nice and easy auction service
Very nice and easy tu use auction portal. Everything is clear and works all right. Detailed descriptions and many photos of any car offered. The only "problem" is that commision for service have to be paid by wired transfer, for people outside Sweden it is not good and easy solution.

We also truly appreciate your feedback regarding payment of the commission fee. We understand that a bank transfer can feel less convenient for customers outside Sweden, and it’s helpful for us to hear that perspective.
Our current setup is that the buyer fee is invoiced separately after a successful auction, while the vehicle payment itself is arranged between buyer and seller. We know that international users may have different expectations when it comes to payment methods, so feedback like yours is valuable as we continue improving the experience.

Awful
Awful, complete scam. I was cheated in an auction where the owner told me after I won he didn't even want to sell the car. They even lied about the description of the car and the owner told me he had warned them to change it and not mislead people, they weren't interested and kept it. Total dishonesty. And even after I had already paid the 10% fee which they were super quick to issue, I was never able to contact anyone again in order to be reimbursed by them or even to explain the situation.

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, the seller chose to withdraw from the deal after the auction ended, which is a breach of contract on their part. As a result, we’re of course refunding the auction fee, but we’ve been trying to reach you repeatedly without success. Please get in touch and provide your bank details so we can resolve this promptly.
To clarify, the vehicle description is provided directly by the seller, who is fully responsible for its accuracy.

Hi John, we've tried reaching you to get some more information regarding your negative experience with us. Please get back to us so that we can somehow make it right. In the meantime, for clarification, our only income from our auctions is our buyer's fee of 7,5% including VAT.
It was a really pleasant bidding
It was a really pleasant bidding (since I won), the process was fairly easy.
At first I was a bit scared to purchase a car without seeing it but it felt secure and safe.
It would have been a nice feature if they could've arranget the transaction it self via the platform as well.
