Apollo.io distributed my TPS-registered personal mobile number to sales organisations for cold calling.

The result has been a stream of unsolicited sales calls from businesses that should never have had my details in the first place.

If your platform is supplying TPS-registered personal numbers for prospecting, something is fundamentally wrong. I would not trust Apollo with personal data, and I would urge any business using their database to review its legal and compliance exposure immediately.

Apollo breaks consistently.The only thing good about Apollo is its customer service At least on the Enterprise Plan. Their extension constantly messes with LinkedIn.The UI is very unintuitive. Overall and overall it just trying to do so many things that it does not.

After purchasing, I tried to follow the steps to links provided in 'welcome emails' only to find my devices cannot open the web site. Due to needing my devices for my job, my employer's IT department controls my security access, and it does not allow access to this program. I am not the Administrator, so I can't follow the steps suggested to 'relax' the security features on my devices. I contacted customer service by email requesting a refund and was sent a link to download a refund request form. Only problem is - it's on a web site I cannot access. This has been a back-and-forth conversation with the same cut-and-paste replies from them. Obviously, this is a product I will never be able to use, so it was a complete waste of money for me.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience so far. Credits are disappearing without any clear explanation — I opened the same AI assistant chat multiple times without sending a single message or email, and each time over 300 credits were deducted. Within minutes all my credits were gone, despite not actually using the service in any meaningful way.

The platform then immediately pushed me to upgrade, which honestly feels misleading. Between the hidden credit usage, lack of transparency, and confusing interface, it feels impossible to understand what actions are consuming credits and why.

I signed up expecting a straightforward service, but instead it feels like I’m being charged for simply opening or navigating chats. I’ll be cancelling my subscription and moving to another platform because right now this genuinely feels like a scam.

very complicated to use and AI is not helping much. Too many steps to go through get the final outcome.

Amazing support. Helped me with a matter which was partially my fault. Looking forward to use theirs service in the future.

Avoid this company at all cost! I was using their automated email service for the past 8 months for cold pitching. Their "data" showed that the emails weren't landing in spam, but they were! I started sending emails manually again and began receiving responses right away, at least "out of office" auto responses to know they received it. This scam of a company almost cost me my business!

Bells and whistles but no results. We spent 3 months on the highest tier and did not land a single lead that converted into a sale. We even hired an agency partner to setup our flows, warm up our emails, and still the results suck. Not sure what the hype is, with claude code you can do better.

Customer support don't active anytime. they take longtime maximum time has technical issues

Somewhat irritating platform.

First of all -- good luck getting through to Support even as a paying customer. It took over 72 hours for someone to respond to my issue.

Second -- their "mail warming" feature, which is meant to PROTECT your domain and make sure your emails get sent smoothly was flagged by Google. My email deliverability has tanked and I can't even send a regular email now. I am furious about this as destroying email deliverability can result in needing to purchase and setup and entirely new domain/brand name.

Next, they're constantly rearranging features. It is impossible to Google search how to fix something because they're constantly moving around where to access information. Even their Support documents have outdated screenshots and are wrong.

In general, it's good for accessing some key contact information. But the platform is clunky, the support is non-existent, and they're phoning it in. Can't wait for a competitor platform with better drip campaign capabilities and the size of Apollo's data comes into the fold for a cheaper price and clears them.

It's just a service that you have to upgrade again and again with misleading messages on limits. I had to upgrade to Professional plan in order to have a list on batches of 10K and after 7 (yes seven) messages for upgrading in order to do my job, I changed the plan and the support said that I had to upgrade again because it was a mistake.

Terrible customer service and the form does not work to remove your information. I get spam calls on my personal phone every day saying they got my number from Apollo and it is impossible to delete my information from their data base.
