I was very satisfied with the repair provider, who identified and resolved the problem in one visit.
I did not find the communication with ORHW entirely clear regarding how the provider would schedule with me. I also did not receive information about how the $100 service call fee was to be paid. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

This was the first time I made a claim…
This was the first time I made a claim through Old Republic and overall it was pretty easy. The hardest part was putting in what I needed online and paying for the deductible. It didn't say payment made and just went back to the beginning so I had to start all over again.
It didn't take too long to get the order and provide the phone number to who was going to service it. We were able to contact them and ask them to come on a certain day and time and they did exactly that.
It was mostly very easy to do and probably the best home warranty that I've ever dealt with.

Was happy with most of the coverage
Was happy with most of the coverage, but felt that the few times that things were NOT covered were odd and random. And was not able to get any specifics on why something wasn't covered when asking a representative for the reason.

It was easy to file a claim. The response from the local provider was very prompt. The local provider, Peter's drilling, was excellent.

Can’t get anyone to answer my call
I tried yesterday to contact Old Republic and was on hold on the phone for over 2 hours and no one answered. I am trying again right now to no avail. I am simply trying to let them know the washer they ordered as a replacement for me had arrived and I need to arrange for installation. Extremely frustrating!!!

This situation was extremely poorly…
This situation was extremely poorly handled and I got no solution until I elevated it to the International VP level. My complaint fell down from the International VP level to the shoulders of Lesa Baty, Sr. Operations Audit Manager to handle. She assured me that she would communicate with me until the situation was resolved. In fact, she told me to send HER the receipts once I bought a new unit and had it installed on my own. Since that promise, I have attempted to contact her multiple times via the email address she gave me. All but one of my emails have been met with undeliverable notifications.
This whole situation has been unsatisfactorily handled and should be investigated. Please feel free to call me at 850-572-0389 for more details. The details are too numerous to state here.

The Perfect Experience
It was a great experience, I’ve heard so much about bad experiences with home warranty programs so I feared that would have the same.
