Everything was a great experience and learning on this online PLC Training course—
Best for Electricians, control’s and even mechanical techs who want to expand their career into a more paying “controls position guy”. Covers all aspects, and facilitates the learning with the proper toolsets— like the highly expensive Rockwell Automation’s Logix5000 Software which is itself over $7500 by itself, if you want to purchase it personally, even for learning only. But this course provides it free (of course, it comes with some idiosyncracies and awkwardness — needed frequent renewing of the license every 7 days)! ( for that, you may slap RA).
The online live sessions were the most beneficial for me— many other online courses do not have such live sessions, where students can interactively talk to the live instructor/s as well as other students.
This course is also very good for theoretical good engineers - both Electrical, mechanical and other disciplines, who knows everything about PLCs but are gun-shy in pulling the triggers in writing an actual PLC program— either they never had a lab ( in their university) or never had a practical hands-on experience in writing a PLC logic program or simply rusted while doing administrative positions ( that was my case) where my last position was a CEO of a Controls integration company; could bark high level commands to the juniors but when it comes to actually doing /writing the logics, I was extremely gun-shy!! Then after retiring, wanted to consult— then you know, when you declare yourself as consultant, you have to do everything by yourself! This training helped me tremendously! Good job, Steven and David!! wish you all the success and looking forward to participate by invitation to you training session as guest speaker on INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING etc.
I am now working at one of the nation’s largest EV Battery Manufacturing Plant —LG Energy Solutions, in Queen Creek, Arizona, USA.

I have learned a great deal from this training course and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn or strengthen their PLC skills. The course has helped me not only gain a better understanding of HMI development but also learn how to properly configure and set up VFD drives.
I am now beginning the Structured Text programming course, and I am excited to see what new knowledge I will gain in this chapter. I would like to specially thank David Castro for his constant support through the training. One of the things I value the most about this program is the real-life, hands-on support that is available, which truly makes the training outstanding.
Thank you to the entire team of myPLCtraining!!

MyPLC Training is well designed for people ranging from beginners to those with some PLC and industrial experience. I had some troubleshooting exposure but no hands-on programming or connection experience; this course closed that gap for me. The lessons are clearly structured and entirely online, so you can work through them at your own pace and on your schedule. I also appreciated the easy access to support from trainers and interaction with other students. Overall, I highly recommend MyPLC Training for anyone looking to get into PLC programming.

Hey Stephan,
I have been an Electrician for 32 years. I started out as an LME and worked my way up to a Supervising Electrician. I have been a troubleshooter, and somewhat of a programmer on Allen Bradley SLC-500 and RS-500 MicroLogix. I was challenged with Studio 5000 applications and couldn't even begin to design a very basic program. That was until I found myplc.com and Stephan Gates. This program kept me wanting more and definitely challenged me to broaden my horizons as an Automation Electrician. In my opinion, Stephan Gates is one of the best Engineers I've ever come across, and believe me, I've met lots of them. I might add that several of these Engineers attempted to show me Studio5000 but were not successful. Stephan Gates and his people make sure that anyone taking this course will succeed. I recommend that all Industrial trades people entering this field take this course while serving in an "Electrical Apprenticeship." I plan to branch out for an opportunity to direct an apprenticeship, along with teaching these apprentices about automation control, including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs. Not to mention being a competent Electrician. Stephan Gates is very knowledgeable on PLC program development, and troubleshooting.
This course made me a new man, and I am excited to show everyone how to be the best they can be in the trades. It's quite rewarding.
Thank you Stephan, and God Bless you and this program.
Sincerely,
Larry Spooner

This company cares about your success more than a profit. I recommend anyone who wants to evolve in their knowledge choose this training but more than that the people behind this school are genuine people. They understand things are going to happen out of our control and they work with you. School is intimidating enough myPLCtraining give you peace through the process.

I've been an electrician for many years and have learned many aspects of the trade such as motors, VFDs, starters, and power distribution systems; but never had a good foundational learning in PLCs or that arena. With the last few jobs I've had in the energy sector, I've had to start trouble shooting multiple aspects of automation. I would open a cabinet with a PLC in it, but had no idea what I was looking at. I knew what it does in general, but that was about it. After taking this class, I can look at a PLC and know what the different components and systems are, how they're connected and communicating with each other, I am able to navigate through the different programs and software utilized to operate these systems, I can filter through the logic and operations along with the HMI programming, and even navigate VFD programming, which I didn’t even think about before I took this class. This has helped me out so much and in the arenas that I work in, trying to find help learning these different aspects felt impossible and trying to learn it on my own was overwhelming and I didn't know where to start. Except for the idea of going back to school, but for me that's not an option because I'm older with a family and that would not be feasible. Everything for this course was laid out well and covered what I needed to overcome my knowledge gaps I had in a reasonable amount of time and at my pace. Now I can correct programming issues, confidently take on the trouble shooting aspects of my position without guessing and not knowing where to start. I owe this class a lot of gratitude when it comes to how much it has helped me and what it has added to my skillset and to improving the future of my career! I also would like to add that when I needed help with this course, that the coaching/teaching team was readily available and helped me with any needs. They were great and very pleasant to work with.

I had set some long-term goals and in order to achieve these goals I needed schooling/training. After being a maintenance technician, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in controls and automation. With my work schedule and home life, taking college courses or technical school courses was not feasible. I had taken a few week long courses put on by local vendors and another online training course but the week ones were not enough and the other online course was hard to follow due to language differences and no way to verify my work. Plus there was no interaction with an instructor if I needed help. After searching for something that would allow me to study and advance at my pace, I found myPLCtraining.com.
With myPLCtraning.com I was writing logic within the first week and had ways to verify my work. If I had questions or needed help, the instructors would respond in less than 24 hrs or I could wait till a scheduled video call, and they would help me via zoom. This isn't just a course where they give you the instructions and are done. The two instructors take their time to make sure you understand everything and treat you like you are just as important as the next person.
After two months of taking the courses, I felt confident enough that I wanted to start searching for a position in controls and automation. Armed with the knowledge learned in these courses and the huge support of their recruiter, I landed a new job as a Programming & Automation Specialist. I met all my long-term goals with this new position!!! No more 12 hrs shift, no nights or weekends, better work life balance and $15k more a year!!!
I can't say enough about Stephen, David and Parker. Finding this course and applying it helped me achieve my long-term goals in about two and half months.

It Challenge me to better my knowledge and skill making me have more passion in things I personally want to accomplish. By completing the six month CPP accelerated program, my employer gave me a raise, due to the knowledge and understanding of PLCs, and also because they wanted to keep me around, they knew that I would probably walked to another job. So know I am getting experience on PLC programming and setting PLC Controls. I thank you guys for your patience and support. Miguel
