Students: find out about our internship and apprenticeship opportunities
What better way to discover SUEZ and understand the value and importance of the essential work we do in the water and waste management sectors than to join us on an internship or apprenticeship?
As a student or young graduate, it will be a unique opportunity for you to discover jobs that you weren’t previously aware of, share the day-to-day experiences of our committed, passionate teams, acquire skills from professionals and show your own talents and convictions.
To make progress together, we want you—the younger generation—to help us see things differently, think outside the box and continue to innovate. We believe strongly that different viewpoints are valuable, and that everyone, with their own unique qualities, can contribute to the success of the collective.
Here at SUEZ, we're offering you this human adventure!

How to apply
The way you select an opportunity and prepare for your interview is the same as for a job, so don’t miss out on the chance to showcase your qualities at this initial stage.
If we like your application, our HR department and your future mentor will contact you quickly to ask you why you want to work for us and about your skills, and they will invite you to an interview, before sending the agreement between you, us and your educational establishment.
Next, we will start your onboarding process, which is a very important stage for us!

Young talent: find out about our Graduate Programmes
Since 2014, the Graduate Programmes have offered young graduates a unique and enriching experience over two years. Our Graduate Managers and Graduate Experts programmes, while distinct, are both geared towards helping graduates achieve excellence and boost their careers.
Graduates who complete the two years are guaranteed a permanent job and personalised support. During the programmes, various initiatives allow graduates to:
- discover the Group,
- developing their professional networks,
- acquire a wide variety of skills.
Those who take up the opportunity embark on an enriching professional adventure and play a key role in shaping SUEZ’s future. Joining the Graduate Programmes means being part of the new generation of committed leaders!
Whether they come straight out of higher education or are young professionals who already have some experience, our graduates have attended engineering schools, business schools and universities and are looking for a stimulating job and an enriching professional experience. They are self-reliant, adaptable and curious, show managerial potential and are passionate about the environment. They want to make an active contribution to environmental issues and are willing to move throughout the country.
- Successful applicants take part in a two-year programme,
- after which they will have a stimulating permanent job.
- They take part in a variety of complementary assignments that will develop the skills they need to be a manager.
- They have a personalised training-based development plan.
- They benefit from ongoing support from mentors, trainers and assessors at each stage of the programme.
- They are supported by a human resource correspondent from the time of their onboarding until they start their first managerial role.
- They have regular interaction with their peers and the Group’s other graduates—through onboarding sessions, internal events and training—to help them maintain links and discuss their experiences.
- They do exciting work that serves the environment!
Every year in the spring, our recruitment campaign opens its doors and offers a unique opportunity to around 20 candidates to join our programme and accelerate their career.
In our 2023 cohort, we had 29 graduates—both new graduates and people with less than five years of professional experience, all with technical backgrounds—ready to become future experts in environmental services in France and abroad.
Over the course of the two-year programme, they will mainly address challenges of the future such as reducing carbon emissions from our activities, preserving water resources and producing energy from waste. They will work in skilled areas such as water treatment, waste recycling and upgrading, maintenance of facilities and urban water systems, guided by our best experts, who are passionate and dedicated to passing on their knowledge and expertise.
As well as their technical skills, our future experts also receive support to help them develop their personal skills: emotional intelligence, the art of the pitch and professional social media skills. Every month, to help them integrate within the company, they take part in inspiring events and exploratory assignments, preparing them for their future roles at SUEZ.
The Graduate Experts programme has already trained 24 young experts across two cohorts, with a success rate of 96% in our various entities, and they are making a valuable contribution to a more sustainable future.
Apply for an international voluntary work placement
Are you a European Union citizen and do you want to start your professional career by working abroad?
Each year, around 40 young graduates eligible for technical, engineering and support roles (finance, business development, sustainability, sales, human resources, etc.) undertake an international voluntary work placement at one of our subsidiaries.
These placements can last from 6 to 24 months, and are available in many countries around the world.
