✈️ Introducing the Aero Gama Brake Cooling Machine Efficient brake cooling plays an important role in reducing aircraft ground time and supporting safe and effective maintenance and turnaround operations. Aero Gama S.r.l. is pleased to present its Brake Cooling Machine, shown here in the B737 configuration: a compact, robust and high-performance solution specifically designed for the forced cooling of aircraft brake assemblies. The system is engineered for practical use in both hangar and ramp environments, combining high airflow performance, easy handling and a rugged wheeled structure. 🔧 Key features: - High airflow capacity - Compact and robust construction - Easy positioning and handling - Dedicated airflow delivery directly to the brake assembly - 230/120 VAC power supply - Maximum airflow up to 3,675 m³/h - Efficient and consistent brake cooling 🔄 One machine, multiple aircraft configurations The Brake Cooling Machine can be custom-configured for virtually any aircraft model and type, according to the operator’s specific requirements. Aero Gama can also develop a multi-aircraft configuration, allowing a single machine to be used on different aircraft types. Through an adjustable-height system operated by a dedicated control lever, the cooling unit can be positioned at different heights from the ground, adapting the airflow outlet to the brake assembly position of different aircraft. This solution provides greater operational flexibility, helping operators and MRO organizations reduce the need for multiple dedicated units and optimize their GSE fleet. 🌎 LATAM Market For the Latin American market (LATAM), Aero Gama is present through its partnership with Sky Global Partners, strengthening our commercial presence and providing dedicated support to airlines, MROs and aviation operators throughout the region. 📩 Looking for a dedicated B737 configuration, a solution for another aircraft type, or one machine capable of supporting multiple aircraft models? Contact Aero Gama S.r.l. or our LATAM partner Sky Global Partners to discuss your operational requirements and develop the right configuration. #AeroGama #SkyGlobalPartners #LATAM #GroundSupportEquipment #GSE #AircraftMaintenance #MRO #BrakeCooling #AircraftBrakes #B737 #Boeing737 #AviationEngineering #AircraftGroundSupport #MaintenanceEquipment #Aerospace #AviationIndustry #Airlines #MROSolutions

Looking at the top airframe MRO–aircraft variant pairs by maintenance events in Q2 2026, one thing is immediately clear: the workhorses of commercial aviation are still keeping maintenance providers busiest. The Boeing B737-800 appears six times in the top 15, spread across providers including STAECO, HNA Technic, MRO Holdings Inc., AAR, China Eastern Airlines Technic, and ATS, a testament to the sheer scale of the type's global fleet and the breadth of shops certified to handle it. The Airbus A320-200 follows closely, featuring five times across the list. China Eastern Airlines Technic is the standout performer, appearing three times, servicing A320-200Ns, B737-800s, and A320-200s, making it the most versatile provider in the top 15 by variant coverage. MRO Holdings Inc. also punches above its weight with three appearances across B737-800, A320-200, and B737-700 work, signalling strong narrowbody depth. One entry that catches the eye: Aeroflot Technics logs 32 SSJ 100/95B events, the highest single-variant count for a Russian type, reflecting continued domestic maintenance activity despite the broader constraints on Russia's aviation sector. And rounding out the list, Emirates self-maintaining 19 A380s is a quiet reminder that the world's largest widebody fleet still demands serious hangar capacity. Take a look at the Top 15 pairs below.

FLYONE Asia becomes Uzbekistan's first GTF operator — with an engine type that grounded a third of its global fleet this year FLYONE Asia's first branded Airbus A321neo, delivered last week, is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G Geared Turbofan engines — making the carrier the first operator of GTF-powered aircraft in Uzbekistan. What's known Until now, Air Astana Group was the sole operator of GTF-powered A320neo-family aircraft in Central Asia. Uzbekistan's other carriers — Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air and Qanot Sharq Airlines — operate their A320neo/A321neo fleets exclusively with CFM International (CFM) LEAP-1A engines, a choice driven by LEAP-1A's stronger reliability track record over PW1100G. The gap between the two engine types is material. According to Lufthansa Consulting, 36% of the global PW1100G-powered A320neo-family fleet — 630 aircraft — was grounded earlier this year due to engine-related issues, against just 5% (150 aircraft) for LEAP-1A. Air Astana Group itself experienced this directly, removing dozens of PW1100G engines from service in recent years under a settlement with Pratt & Whitney. The aircraft, notably, isn't new: it's a year old and previously operated under the colors of now-defunct US ultra-low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines. Why it matters For MRO providers and lessors, FLYONE Asia's engine choice diverges from the regional consensus — most Uzbek carriers have deliberately avoided PW1100G exposure. Whether that choice reflects aircraft availability constraints or a different risk calculus is worth watching as the carrier's fleet grows.

AnimaWings has inducted another Airbus A220-300 into its fleet following completion of livery and engineering work by SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance and MAAS Aviation at Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands. The release to service coincides with a formal agreement signed on September 3, 2026, designating SAMCO as the base maintenance provider for the Romanian carrier's A220 operations. The induction divided responsibilities between the two co-located providers: MAAS Aviation handled painting and livery application, while SAMCO managed regulatory and engineering requirements under its EASA Part 21 approval, then officially released the aircraft into commercial service under its Part 145 certification. The co-location at a single regional airport allowed both workscopes to be completed without repositioning the aircraft between facilities. AnimaWings is targeting a fleet of 18 aircraft by end of 2027, with the A220-300 at the center of that growth. The full article covers the scope of the SAMCO maintenance agreement, the induction workflow, and the A220-300's reported fuel and emissions performance figures cited by the carrier. #aviation #MRO #Airbus Read more: https://lnkd.in/ehjV-W7C
