Phoebe Yu worked in the recycling industry, and what she saw there changed everything. Materials marked "recyclable" never got recycled. The infrastructure wasn't there. The system was broken. So instead of accepting it, she decided to build something better. That's how Floofah was born: a 100% plant-based shower loofah made from a natural gourd, grown by generational farmers in South China, with zero plastic — not just in the product, but in the packaging, the thread, the tag.
