💥Big news from ProphetX💥 We’ve officially filed applications with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to register as both a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO). This marks an important step toward building the first regulated, sports-native prediction market in the United States. Our goal is to bring the structure, transparency, and integrity of financial markets to sports. Unlike a sportsbook, ProphetX is a user-driven marketplace where users trade directly with one another. At the center of it all is our Request for Quote (RFQ) Parlay Mechanism. It allows users to request and respond to quotes on multi-event combinations — creating real price discovery, fairer markets, and a more transparent trading experience. We’ll be working with the CFTC through 2026 to build this framework responsibly, ensuring the right foundation for compliance and market integrity.
