Customers are increasingly moving away from legacy point solutions rebranded as AI. Our CEO Brad Silicani joined Jack Arrix from Campfire on stage at the Jefferies AI Summit, in a conversation with Brent Thill. A few things stood out: → Many legacy tools are rebranding as AI native, but they don't have a single AI customer running on them today. Businesses can tell the difference, and they're choosing modern, consolidated platforms instead. → AI gives the office of the CFO a real lift, especially in speed of deployment and execution. But the regulatory pieces underneath still need to be right 100% of the time. Speed shouldn't excuse getting the number wrong. → Partnership and collaboration is increasingly prevalent and important between modern finance solutions, which is why Anrok has prioritized deep ties with players across the ecosystem, including Campfire. We replaced Intuit QuickBooks with Campfire and went live August 1 after a short implementation. Seven weeks into go-live, here's the honest version 🏕️🔥 The evaluation: Campfire over others. Not because it was cheaper — because it was built for a finance and accounting team that wanted to work inside the system instead of around it. Assort Health is AI native, so our ERP is now as well. The migration: → Chart of accounts rebuilt from scratch, not lifted from QBO → Full tie-out, balance by balance, done by us and their team → Ramp, Rippling, and J.P. Morgan wired in before go-live, not after. Tabs is almost done… aiming for October 1! The result: our first full close originated end-to-end in the new system, and the financial package came out of Campfire instead of getting assembled around it. ERP migrations have a reputation — nine months, a systems integrator, and a finance team that stops closing the books while it happens. That's not what this was. The tooling changed. The discipline didn't. You still tie out every balance yourself. This time with Ember, custom AI agents, MCP connectors… accounting has been fun the last few years, and it’s only getting better! 🎉
