About us
Kubernetes is an open source system for managing containerized applications across multiple hosts. Kubernetes builds upon a decade and a half of experience at Google running production workloads at scale using a system called Borg, combined with best-of-breed ideas and practices from the community. Kubernetes is hosted by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). If your company wants to help shape the evolution of technologies that are container-packaged, dynamically scheduled, and microservices-oriented, consider joining the CNCF. For details about who's involved and how Kubernetes plays a role, read the CNCF announcement.

The Call for Proposals for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2027 is closing soon! . We'd especially love to see strong participation from the Kubernetes contributor community in the Maintainer Track and Contribfests. If your SIG has a topic, project update, technical deep dive, contributor experience, or discussion that would be valuable to the broader Kubernetes community, now is the time to get your proposal in. The Maintainer Track is a great opportunity for SIGs and Kubernetes subprojects to share what they're working on, important developments in their area, and topics contributors and users should know about. Contribfest is another opportunity to bring contributors together around collaboration, discussion, and hands-on work. CFP Deadline: 11 October at 11:59 PM CEST (UTC+2) Submit here: https://lnkd.in/gyAuPYYF
