1000 is an arbitrary number, but it's a moment I've been looking forward to celebrating. I joined Intuit's Argo CD team five years ago, and I became a lead on the OSS project two and a half years ago. I attended the first in-person ArgoCon at Intuit headquarters in Mountain View, and since then I've given a dozen talks at ArgoCon, KubeCon, and GitOpsCon. I've submitted 4221 Argo CD PR reviews, made 2833 comments on issues, and now I've made more than 1000 commits to the Argo CD repo. I really love this stuff. OSS has been an important part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. There have been a ton of amazing people along the way who have helped me get to a place where I could contribute to OSS and get paid to do it, and I'm very grateful to you all. I'm also thankful that Intuit continues to support the Argo ecosystem. The Argo community is incredibly strong, and it's only getting stronger. ArgoCon talks always get amazing engagement, the KubeCon booth always gets swarmed, and the repo has never been busier, so thank you all! Our 42 official maintainers and many more contributors will continue working hard to make every Argo CD release even better than the last one.
