New Argo CD Add-On Alert! A newly created Argoproj-Labs project by Eugene Dudin introduces a new controller for MonoRepo users. Derived from Pasha Kostohrys’ Application Change Controller. ✨ What it does: This controller is an Argo CD add-on that accurately tracks the last commits that actually changed the application (Change Revision). It is useful with ArgoCD notifications controller. It is especially useful when several Applications are looking at different paths within the same repository/branch — a very common pattern when working with monorepos. Instead of showing every commit made to the repo, this add-on surfaces only the commits that really impact your application. Cleaner insights, less noise, better GitOps workflows. Argo CD now supports enhanced OCI metrics! 🎉 With the latest update (https://lnkd.in/gxi8ceFh), Argo CD has introduced various OCI (Open Container Initiative) metrics, enabling better visibility and monitoring of containerized applications and their performance within Kubernetes. This is a fantastic addition for anyone looking to optimize and monitor their continuous delivery pipelines in real-time. A big thanks to 🏀 Patroklos Papapetrou (Pat) for contributing this awesome feature to the project!

Ever wondered what the Rendered Manifests pattern is — or why so many teams pair it with OCI registries? In this video, Christian Hernandez breaks down how the pattern works, why teams choose to render their Kubernetes manifests ahead of time, and the real trade-offs between flexibility and stability.
