You are probably not failing because you lack hustle. You are leaking energy through quiet leadership mistakes. Here are the five leadership lessons Simon Sinek wants you to learn: 1️⃣ When you chase short-term wins, you slowly trade away the future you started this company to build. 2️⃣ When empathy slips, your people stop bringing their best. 3️⃣ When authority replaces inspiration, they comply instead of commit. 4️⃣ When trust is neglected, fear fills the gaps. 5️⃣ When numbers matter more than humans, culture always loses. Given your team the benefit of the doubt. Invest in their long-term development. Help them explore their potential. Trust them to do the job well. Give them the tools they need to be successful. It's that simple. Take these lessons to heart and watch your team flourish. ➕ Follow EOS Worldwide for more daily guidance on building a business that runs strong without burning you or your people out.

If engagement is a priority for your team in 2026, Kris Snyder, EOS Implementer and Chief Revenue Officer at Ninety, has some words of wisdom for you. Employee engagement just hit its lowest point in over a decade, with unclear expectations and disengaged managers costing organizations and teams dearly. In this blog, Kris dives into why the biggest wins won't come from perks or pulse surveys — they'll come from clarity, alignment, and smarter ways of working. ✔️ Engagement improves when people know what they're doing and why it matters. ✔️ Traditional annual reviews are on their way OUT; continuous feedback and real-time clarity is IN. ✔️ AI and rapid innovation will reshape roles faster than change management systems are ready for — making communication and learning non-negotiable. ✔️ Retention will hinge on connecting individual growth to organisational goals. In short: employees stay engaged when work makes sense, and growth feels real; and as a leader, you play a central role in making that happen. If you're thinking about engagement, performance, or how to lead through change in 2026, you'll want to read this 👉 https://lnkd.in/e5CupuG2

In late 2020, Jeffrey Benton invited me to Louisiana to spend a long New Year’s weekend with his family and ring in 2021. It was incredibly generous, as we had only recently met, and I had questions. Earlier that year, a business owner handed me a copy of Traction, looked me in the eye, and said, “Your story and experience align with this book. There are a lot of business owners in Columbia, including me, who need this system. You're the guy who can help us." I read the book and my heart caught fire. In Traction, I recognized the similar approach I'd used to transform two organizations, only this system was comprehensive and light-years ahead of mine in every way. Even though I knew becoming an EOS Implementer was the path for me, and I had just turned down a rare, high-speed job offer to follow it, I still had questions. Thank God for Jeff Benton. Because of his generous invitation, I was able to ask the questions I needed to ask, learn from his experience, and receive great advice - all while sailing, eating donuts, drinking bad coffee, and having so much fun on the water. I returned home with the confidence to take the plunge into the EOS universe. Five years ago today (Jan 15, 2021), I launched my business and became an EOS Implementer. What an adventurous journey it has been, and what amazing people I have met and grown close to along the way. Thank God for surprising acts of generosity, for my wife who supported at every step, for all the leadership teams and clients across SC and Charlotte that I've been blessed to help over the last five years, and for all the phenomenal EOS Implementers out there who have become family! This sounds like I've won an Oscar, but much love to you all! EOS Worldwide #EOSFamily #ColumbiaSC #CharlotteBusiness

💥 Pop Quiz Time 💥 Two functional leaders are at a stalemate, each championing a different solution to a key issue. They're stuck. Deadlocked. So, who steps in to make the final call? The Integrator. The Integrator is the tie breaker. This is Rule #3 of the Five Rules from Rocket Fuel, and it's one that often challenges Visionaries. Here's why: Visionaries sometimes fear letting go. 😬 But the truth is, trusting your Integrator to make the call strengthens your business. It's not about control— it's about building trust. Visionaries, this is your growth opportunity. You need to let your Integrator make the tough decisions. You should focus on the big picture and your unique abilities. Use your Same-Page Meetings to address any concerns and take corrective action if needed. Integrators, your role is to earn that trust. Get into the details and make informed decisions. Build confidence by consistently demonstrating sound judgment. Letting go isn't losing control; it's empowering your team to thrive. 💪 Mark C. Winters

  • You don't lose focus all at once... You lose it one "great idea" at a time. You start simple. One logo. One thing. Real clarity. Then momentum shows up… and so does temptation. The temptation to do everything for everyone, to be everything to everybody, and to chase every corner of the market. It sounds ambitious. It even feels responsible. And it quietly creates confusion. When you let distraction drive, you don't just make your own role harder. You make it harder for your team to execute and for the marketplace to understand you. That confusion and distraction costs a whole lot. So if you've been feeling scattered lately, we want you to hear this: you're not broken. You're human. We rationalize. We justify. We call it strategy. And you still get to choose your way back. Get honest about what you're saying "yes" to. Get disciplined about what you're saying "no" to. And come back to the simple thing you do best, on purpose.
