Every year I pick a word to focus on for the new year. My 2026 word is vulnerability to zoom into a need to approach my self, my family and my work with care and thought. I tend to quickly move to decision and where that can be my super power… there is also power in pausing and naming what I don’t know. I’m leaning into the practices below to help me reflect on vulnerability this year. This Adobe Express guided activity was a great way to creatively reflect. Want to create your own starter pack? Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a secure, resilient start to 2026. 🎉 I enjoyed my conversation with Kim Key at PCMag about the year ahead in cybersecurity and how AI is reshaping both attacks and defenses. Her story captures the rising risks—from AI‑powered scams and deepfakes to faster, more organized ransomware—and why industry collaboration is essential. Read it here: https://lnkd.in/gH784qJs As I shared in the piece: “AI is here. As a security person, my goal is to secure it for our families and friends. It's not one person's job. We all have to join forces.” Two practical reminders: - Beware of prompt injection traps—hidden instructions in prompts, documents or emails that can manipulate AI assistants. Slow down, verify, and apply strong governance before acting. - Strengthen everyday defenses—use MFA/passkeys, and set family “code words” to verify urgent requests that could be fueled by deepfakes. Thank you, Kim, for the thoughtful conversation and for spotlighting the shared responsibility we all have in building digital trust. Here’s to advancing security—together—in 2026. 🥂

Time truly flies—January 2026 marks 30 incredible years at Adobe Inc., a milestone that feels both surreal and deeply meaningful. It’s been an amazing journey shaped by the vision of two remarkable founders (Chuck & John) that I was fortunate to work with over the years. And thanks to our incredible engineers continuing to make ideas come to life... Proud to say, Adobe products are basically everywhere you look — from printed pages, websites, film/TV to Times Square’s and Tokyo's moving billboards.

I recently had the privilege of joining Nasdaq TradeTalks alongside Nikhil Gupta, MIGNONA COTÉ, and Vijay Jajoo to dive into how AI is reshaping enterprise security — from new efficiencies and scale to emerging risks leaders must proactively address.     One key takeaway: AI is becoming a force multiplier for both defenders and attackers. Organizations that succeed will be those that pair advanced technology with strong governance, clear accountability and a security-first culture across the enterprise.   Thank you to Jill Malandrino for the thoughtful conversation. As AI accelerates change, cross-industry collaboration and strategic leadership are more critical than ever.     Watch the full discussion at https://lnkd.in/g69Bvt_F #AI #Cybersecurity #EnterpriseSecurity #DigitalTrust #NasdaqTradeTalks

Happy 2026! 🎉 Before heading into the new year, I had the privilege of sharing with Adobe employees around the world our refreshed Adobe mission: Empowering everyone to create.  Leading this work alongside my team, many partners across the company and our senior leadership team was especially fulfilling because it was grounded in a simple (but important) idea: know your “why.” Because when you’re clear on why you’re here, it’s so much easier to show up in the world with transparency, integrity, and authenticity. Empowering everyone to create is simple and expansive at the same time. It is the essence of who we are, what we stand for, the core of our DNA. It taps into our legacy while providing a clear vision of the way forward.     Most importantly, it puts our customers at the heart of everything we do, and it’s everything our extraordinary employees embody.     Create means so many things to so many people. Whether you're creating images, illustrations, designs, presentations, videos, social posts, experiences, businesses, communities, journeys, campaigns, analyses  — truly anything in your mind’s eye —  “empowering everyone to create” reflects the incredible breadth of the customers we're here to serve from students, creators, creative professionals, to marketers and enterprises—and the role Adobe plays at every step of the journey, powered by our AI Platform.    What has inspired me most was seeing how our teams across the globe have embraced this moment with pride and belief. Our evolved mission is both a rallying cry and an invitation: to imagine boldly, to build with intention and create the future, together. With deep gratitude to our global Adobe team—you are the heart of this company, and you are made to create. 💫

I was glad to join industry leaders at “Bloomberg Tech Presents: Defending the Digital Economy” in NYC to discuss the evolving cybersecurity landscape and what it will take to strengthen digital resilience in an increasingly connected world.    AI significantly amplifies both opportunity and risk, requiring security to evolve through stronger foundational hygiene, AI-powered defenses, and a resilient security culture. As AI introduces entirely new classes of attacks, defenders must also leverage AI—failure to do so will only widen the imbalance in favor of attackers.   Thank you to Tim Stenovec for a thoughtful and energizing fireside chat, and to Bloomberg Live for convening such an important conversation.   It was great connecting with peers from AT&T, Citi, CVS Health, Google Cloud Security, Mastercard, Microsoft, Salesforce, Wells Fargo, and others — all focused on safeguarding trust while continuing to innovate.   Watch the entire event's recording at https://lnkd.in/gtHsGmf7   #Cybersecurity #DigitalTrust #TechLeadership #BloombergTech
