ISO 17025:2017 Accredited Laboratory The Via Seating mechanical testing laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), certificate number 4772.01, and its issued reports and product certifications are globally recognized. The laboratory’s main activities include ergonomic measurement, stability testing, strength testing, and durability testing. Test methods are based on BIFMA standards for general and large occupant office and lounge seating products. The design and engineering teams utilize the laboratory for product certification, new and existing product evaluation, and continuous improvement. Access to an in-house ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory leads to a higher-quality final product.
