With a new blood cancer diagnosis every 27 seconds worldwide, Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses and clinical roles at blood cancer centres across the UK, providing patients with access to innovative and potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials. Without the expert research nurses to ensure patients are constantly monitored and cared for; these trials would not run, and patients would miss the opportunity to access potentially life-saving therapies. By supporting these roles, Cure Leukaemia facilitates potentially life-saving advancements in blood cancer therapies nationally but also contributes to global progress and hope for those impacted by the disease worldwide.

Oliver McDonald, Founder and Managing Director at Engage Wealth Management was diagnosed with leukaemia at just four years old. Having overcome the disease as a child, Oliver now wants to support others, with his company Engage Wealth Management committing to support Cure Leukaemia. To kick off the partnership, Oliver took on the London 2 Brighton Cycle Ride this September, during Blood Cancer Awareness Month and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Beyond the saddle, Engage Wealth Management is embedding its support directly into its core business model. The firm has pledged to donate a percentage of its ongoing business income directly to Cure Leukaemia, alongside actively leveraging its network to raise further vital funds and awareness.
