We’re pleased to be joining forces with VOIANT® for a joint symposium at the 10th Anniversary #IPF Summit in Boston next week. Beyond FVC: Delivering Advanced Imaging Endpoints for Next-Generation IPF/ILD Trials 📅 Thursday, October 1, 2026 🕘 9:00 AM EST 📍 Boston, MA In this session, Prof. Anand Devaraj from Brainomix and Dr. Wieying Quinn Kuo, MD, PhD from #Voiant will explore: ✅ The value of quantitative #HRCT in clinical trials, from identifying meaningful differences between patients at baseline to capturing changes in lung structure that may complement conventional functional measures. ✅ What it takes to bring imaging biomarkers into trials at scale, including consistent image acquisition, robust quality assurance, centralized assessment and AI-enabled quantitative analysis. ✅ The growing evidence for imaging-based endpoints, including studies in which quantitative CT measures have been evaluated alongside #FVC to provide a more comprehensive picture of disease and treatment effects. As the role of imaging in respiratory clinical research continues to evolve, we’ll discuss how quantitative CT and AI-powered analysis can provide deeper, more objective and quantitative insights across #IPF and #ILD trials and help advance the development of new treatments. 📨 Please contact lifesciences@brainomix.com for further information, or to book a meeting with our team. We look forward to seeing colleagues in Boston. 🦞 Ross Stewart Peter George Kira Schützenhofer Hanson Wade

🔬 New research from the ENV-IPF-101 clinical trial highlights the potential of quantitative CT to provide deeper insights into treatment response in pulmonary fibrosis. 🎥 In a new HCPLive interview, Peter George discusses how quantitative CT used in the research supported the identification of change signals in patients with lung fibrosis following treatment with taladegib, alongside conventional measures of lung function. The findings highlight the potential for quantitative imaging to help us better understand disease progression and treatment response, while also supporting more targeted endpoints in future clinical trials. "It's been a game changer in terms of the speed at which we are now accessing the imaging... and that has led to a real knock on effect on treatment times and transfer times for thrombectomy." Dr. Jessica Rudnay at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, UK has been using Brainomix 360 Stroke since 2020. Time is brain in stroke care - faster imaging access leads to faster decisions, and faster decisions can lead to better outcomes for patients 🧠 Listen to the full video to hear how the team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust are utilizing Brainomix ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dTwjUray

Today, the National Commission into the Regulation of AI in Healthcare has published its recommendations for how the UK’s regulatory framework should evolve as AI becomes increasingly developed and adopted across healthcare. We strongly support the Commission’s vision for a regulatory framework that is Safe, Fast and Trusted - one that protects patients and manages risk, while enabling responsible innovation and timely access to technologies that can deliver meaningful benefits across the healthcare system. For those of us developing and implementing AI in healthcare, getting this balance right is critical. Strong safeguards and robust regulation should go hand in hand with an environment that enables responsible innovation and accelerates access to beneficial technologies. This is an important step towards creating a regulatory framework that can support the safe, effective and responsible adoption of AI across the NHS. #NationalAICommission #AIinHealthcare Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency Alastair Denniston Henrietta Hughes Lawrence Tallon
📢 Today, the independent National Commission into the Regulation of AI in Healthcare, led by practising NHS doctors, has published its recommendations on strengthening the regulation of AI in healthcare, aiming to accelerate safe adoption while protecting patient safety and public trust. The National AI Commission, established by the MHRA, gathered evidence from more than 12,000 patients, clinicians, healthcare leaders, industry experts and members of the public over the past year, the largest engagement of its kind ever undertaken in the UK on healthcare technology regulation. Key recommendations include: · Staged authorisations for new AI models, similar to L-plates for learner drivers, allowing safe real-world testing before full approval. · Continuous, real-world monitoring of AI-enabled medical devices throughout their working life, not just at the point of approval. · Public access to safety information on specific AI-enabled medical devices, including any adverse incidents. · Stronger enforcement powers for the MHRA to act decisively when AI systems fall short of the standards patients expect. Alastair Denniston said: "People are open to AI improving their care, but only if it is safe, overseen by humans, and if they know when it is being used.” The government and the MHRA will now consider the recommendations in full, with a formal response to follow. Read the report 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eKp686NZ This work has brought together expertise from across government, the NHS, patient organisations, professional bodies, academia, regulation and industry.
