WalkSafe is now live in Stafford! 🚀   Funded by the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Violence Reduction Alliance (VRA), Stafford is the fourth local area to launch on the WalkSafe app, following Tamworth, Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.   Everyone in Stafford can use WalkSafe to plan safer journeys, share their route with trusted contacts, access useful safety information and view safety-accredited venues through the app. 📲   This latest launch marks another step in our work with the VRA to make WalkSafe available across more communities in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, helping people feel more informed and supported when travelling around their local area.   A big thank you to the VRA, Stafford Community Wellbeing Partnership and everyone involved in bringing the Stafford launch to life. 👏 Staffordshire Commissioner for Police, Fire and Rescue and Crime.   ⬇️ Download WalkSafe for free and explore the Stafford area in the app: https://lnkd.in/eyG8iwpR

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the V&A team at both V&A Storehouse and V&A East Museum and seeing the partnership in action. It was a great opportunity to spend time with staff, talk through how WalkSafe can support them, and answer questions about the app and our wider partnership. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to come over, have a chat and learn more about WalkSafe. Yesterday, we joined LMG (lmgiq.com) for the Hard Hats & Open Minds Charity Walk through central London. We walked in solidarity with the construction industry, united by a shared commitment to creating safer, more inclusive environments for women and girls. Most importantly, the walk raised vital funds for Killed Women (KW) helping them continue their important work supporting bereaved families whose loved ones have been killed by male violence. A powerful day of solidarity, awareness and action and a reminder of what can happen when industries and communities come together to drive meaningful change. He brings extensive CEO and commercial leadership experience across technology, security and international buinsesses, with a strong track record of building partnerships and scaling organisations. It comes at an exciting point in our journey. WalkSafe is the UK’s most downloaded personal safety app, with a growing number of major blue-chip brands now using WalkSafe Pro to help protect their people. James will focus on turning that momentum into scalable growth - strengthening our commercial model, building strategic partnerships and taking WalkSafe to an increasingly broad audience. As Founder, Emma Kay will continue as WalkSafe’s leading evangelist, focusing her energy on the vision, brand and mission that inspired WalkSafe in the first place. A new chapter for WalkSafe, with a big ambition: to make personal safety accessible to everyone.
