About us
POTINA is a nutrition company focused on what comes next. We’ve started with kids. Our first product is a banana oat drink made from fermented oats and organic bananas, with added fibre, calcium and vitamins. No added sugar. No sweeteners. No additives. It’s designed to solve a simple problem. Most kids aren’t getting enough fibre. Parents are trying to do the right thing but the options aren’t great. So this makes it easier. Something that fits into breakfast without overthinking it. Available in Tesco nationwide. But that’s just the start. We’re building around fermentation as a platform. It opens up a different way of producing food. More functional, more sustainable, closer to how nutrition should work. Over time, that means: * rethinking plant-based milk * building new formats in everyday nutrition * and ultimately transforming infant nutrition The ambition is big, but the approach is simple: change what people consume every day, and you change the outcome.

This year, the most valuable addition to our team is an advisor. After 20 years in infant and specialty nutrition (Nestlé, Nestlé Health Science, Danone, Nutricia, Omega Pharma, A Perrigo Company); I genuinely believe there's a real opportunity to improve how we deliver nutrition to babies who need it most. Potina, our Tesco-listed allergy-friendly drinks brand, is just the visible part. Behind it sits a patent-pending technology focused on a specific clinical gap: how heat-sensitive bioactive nutrients are preserved and delivered in infant formula: specialty paediatric nutrition, starting with cow's milk protein allergy. I'm looking for two people to help shape the clinical and scientific thinking as we move toward our next milestone: 1️⃣A senior paediatric gastroenterologist with CMPA clinical and research interest. 2️⃣A senior paediatric dietitian with specialist CMPA and FSMP experience.
