My wife and I have made many purchases over the years from our Swindon store. Mainly camping and fishing gear. The price match service has always been honored, apart from one time when the product was a different color. To me, the main problem this company has is their gift vouchers. Someone buys you a go outdoors gift voucher , it is basically a receipt for, let's say 30 quid. This is then stuck inside a card. When you go in store and purchase an item. (7.99), you go to the till hand them your gift card/voucher. They then open you card, ripping it in the process, remove the receipt for 30 quid. Then after putting it through the till, they give you another receipt for the remainder of the balance inside a new gift card. Why can't they use a plastic credit card style gift card, like other major retailers do. This must be costing a small fortune each year for paper gift cards. Not forgetting countless trees. We have emailed the company about this 2 yrs ago but they obviously never took any notice. Apart from that have always had great service from them even when we wanted an item that we could only find in stock at their Glasgow store. They had it transfered here to Swindon.
