When they said they could get my NIF in 2 days I was sceptical. The reality was I submitted documents, had a call with Jessica a few hours later and within 3 hours of call received email with my NIF.

Visas.pt know what they’re doing when it comes to wading through the Portuguese D7 visa processes.

We applied for a Portuguese visa as a family through visas.pt after carrying out extensive research into several companies offering similar services. Very quickly, we realised that while some firms made grand promises, they were not always transparent about the various complexities, challenges, and potential pitfalls involved in the process.

Scott and his team at visas.pt were transparent, responsive, supportive, and available before, during, and after the application process. We did encounter a few issues along the way, and it was during those moments that we truly understood the value of the service they were providing. It reaffirmed that choosing them was the right decision.
I would highly recommend Scott and his team because at every stage they delivered on what they promised and significantly reduced the pressure and stress that could otherwise have come with such a process. Additionally, the portal they provided enabled seamless communication with the team throughout the journey.

I began working with Visas.pt in Nov. 2024 to begin my journey to relocate to Portugal. I had viewed a podcast given by the owner and an associated immigration lawyer. I was impressed with the knowledge they displayed and the attitude and direction they strove to provide to move through the immigration process with their clients. We had our initial video interview and began moving forward. They provided the help needed to efficiently obtain the first two necessary Portuguese requirments necessary to apply for a Visa, our NIF and our portuguese bank account. These went so smoothly I was amazed, we actually set up our bank account while on a cruise and mailed the documents when we entered port at a DHL office. I had read horror stories about foreign banking. Next we needed to establish a residence. I had decided to attempt this on my own. Found several properties but could make contact. Contacted Visas.pt they set me up with a property locator who became out intermediary. She made the contacts, had our questions answered, vetted the property and reviewed and assisted in the contract arrangements. At this point we were ready to make an appoint for our VISA application. This period of time in the US it had become extremely difficult to get a time slot, we both work the system and I got through first and set the appointments. Everything went smoothly(sort of) we got our visas and moved to our new home in portugal in Dec 2025. After our arriving our next step was to apply in portugal for our Residency card. I contacted our Visas.pt lawyer only to find out she was no longer with the organization. Panic with a capital "P". I contacted the owner, Scott Kirk. He worked with us, assigned us another lawyer and we once again began to move forward. She got us our appointment and discussed having her represent us at the meeting or doing it on our own. We agreed with all i had done and the organization of our documents that I could accomplish it my own. Went to the appointment and often as not AIMA had rescheduled it without notice for 2 months in the future. This was not a problem or concern I had enough research to know it happens often but the problem came with the security personnel doing the rescheduling was not very receptive, nor communicative in english. This frightened me, what if the representative was this way. I came home contacted Jessica, our Visas.pt lawyer and requested she accompany us to our next appointment. She did, and her knowledge with my organization of documents , my wife and I we in and out of the meeting before the scheduled start of the appointment for second persons appointment time.

I state all of this because anyone looking to relocate should be aware things do not go as they should. Having team in your corner willing to adjust and regroup to obtain the goal is far more important than having a team that got lucky and everything goes smoothly. Visas.pt and their whole team, Scott, Jessica and Janeide, were there for us when we needed them, Thank you one and all.
