The offer was insulting and when all my items were returned, delivered today, 1 was broken and a couple damaged. Telephoned to complain and they immediately stated they aren't responsible for items that can be damaged and I had 3. However they couldn't name the 3 breakable items and some of the damage was on unbreakable items PLUS under UK Law they have a duty of care when returning items. Don't USE Despite SOME GOOD REVIEWS as it seems if you have low value items they show no respect OR duty of care. AVOID
This site prays on people who Need money, they give low value to high value items knowing the people who have sent the items in are vulnerable and in need of cash. It's a disgrace that our government allows them to post adverts on public TV saying they pay great prices for unwanted goods. You would be better to sell your items as a job lot I'm eBay to get a better price rather than line the pockets of these modern days highway men. These people are using you to make them rich, do not fall for the rubbish they give you on TV, they are nothing but crooks - when they send your items back broken or damaged they say "this doesn't fall into our insurance policy" even though they advertise on live TV that they will be sent back insured. THESE PEOPLE ARE A MASSIVE CON and should not be allowed to trade let alone advertise after a watchdog investigation. Changing the name from vintage cash cow to vintage.com to mask their blatant robbery should be illegal and I will do everything to ensure these people are bought to justice. DO NOT SEND YOUR ITEMS TO THESE PEOPLE, they are criminals

Shocking service. DO N0T USE THIS COMPANY! Silver items not returned to me after I refused their poultry offer. Following numerous calls and emails I was told you no longer had the CCTV footage and that not only were you unable to do anything about my complaint but that you would not be offering any form of compensation. A shambolic response that will ultimately result in a claim through the small claims court.

Well hi. Been reading reviews, most of which I note are 1 star. So don't know how they manage to get such a high rating. Was considering using them, but not now. I note that they rarely reply to criticism and when on the few occasions they do, and someone has been complaining that items were returned damaged, which seems to be a frequent occurrence or items were missing, and assuming all these people are telling the truth, because it's easy, if wrong, to lie, conveniently they can't find the account. I wonder why? People, if you're foolish enough to consider sending them stuff, record everything, with approx value AND PHOTOGRAPH EVERYTHING! If returned with items broken or missing, you then have proof and in UK at least, you have recourse with Trading Standards and small claims court. Perhaps if they started having action taken against them, they'd get rid of their dishonest staff and change their business practices. If folk don't complain, they'll carry on as they are. RIP OFF DISHONEST Thieving COMPANY.
Very happy with this business. I had no idea what my box of odds and ends would be worth but was very happy with the offer. The whole process was very easy. Would recommend and would use again.

After carefully packing numerous watches and cameras individually for protection, I declined their offer and the items returned. Watches thrown in a bag together so no protection and the two cameras (one which was sent fully boxed with cables etc) taped together screen to screen and one now missing a battery. Do not use!

Ad banner says they buy gold but "What we don't buy" listing says they don't buy gold. They should amend their advert.

My mam sent a few items off expecting a decent price as there were 2 antique clocks in it. She got £20 for everything. She couldn’t face getting them back damaged so just took it. They have since changed from Vintage Cash Cow to Vintage.com, I wonder why? I would avoid this company at all costs.

We sent a box of our deceased aunt's items a couple of years ago. We weren't happy with the price so would got the box back.
It sat, unopened in our attic until yesterday when we opened it to be appraised by a local antique dealer.
We were devastated to find two empty boxes. One had contained a silver set of knives and the other, a 3 strand pearl necklace. Both items were antique.
The only explanation to me is that the items had been stolen by the staff handling our package. Absolute disgrace!

Absolute thieves, total scammers.Need Trading Standards to investigate them

On TV and their WEBSITE they say send in your jewellery, coins ect. basically any old rubbish except clothes , china you know the rest .
Well l sent a pewter goblet , silver tanker for drinking fairly old. Plus a couple other metal items.
Well they are going to send them back because they can’t find a buyer who would be interested in my old stuff. I thought they would at least offer scrap value.
So it’s not what l thought this company was about.

Great excitement looking around to find treasures to bundle up to send. And more excitement waiting for my goods to be sent for appraisal by the experts. I got a reasonable price for my items. Possibly thought I'd get more for them, but accepted the offer as they were just in a drawer or hidden away, and not being used, so I may as well accept the offer and put the money to good use for something I need now.
