Intimidating (or straight up dumb) sales person
Sales guy called and after several attempts to say we are not interested, we have very good alarm systems. responded (and im not kidding) -
"yes, but you can all burn and die anyway, our system has 3rd party involved to help" and started to mention recent specific fire victims.
what a great sales tactic to try you to imagine your family dying to get you under the contract..
