By far the most expensive insurance scheme I've ever been forced in to
I have been forced into various different pensions schemes through employer' agreements in my different jobs over the years. Velliv is by far (a factor of 4 compared to PFA) the most expensive insurance coverage for loss of ability to work. Being forced into these schemes makes it even worse, and i suspect the lack of competition allows these companies to hike prices. Customers can't leave unless their employer makes new blanket agreements with another firm.
To Velliv: you say you’re happy to look at my case, but that is not correct. I have contacted you but have been bluntly forwarded to a mediating company called Aon who can’t do anything about this.
2nd reply: coverage is the same. Price is horrendous. And a broker has to fix your pricing. I give up.

Thanks for the update.
That's correct. If your employer has AON as their pension broker and advisor, then it's them that you have to contact. They're responsible for the terms of your pension agreement. It will also be AON that can advise you on your exact pension scheme and whether you have the right insurance covers. It might be worth checking if your paying more, because your covers are different than in your old pension scheme.
I'm sorry we can't help more - but that's the agreement between your employer, AON and us.
